"The River House was perfect for our weekend trip to the Grand Rapids area! The property is beautiful! The landscaping- lawn, flowering trees, and shrubs- were gorgeous in spring (early May). It as so nice sitting along the river enjoying the day. The house is close to the road, but the traffic is very light and it never bothered us at all- even when sleeping with the windows open toward the road. The house is quaint, and it immediately felt like home. The interior is so inviting and relaxing...

"My husband and I stayed here for a quick getaway for his 40th birthday. We basically used it as home base as we explored the area during the day. It's a simple cottage but with a beautiful view. On our last night there, there was a big geomagnetic storm and we were so blessed to go out on the dock and watch the aurora for an hour and a half. It was the perfect location and the perfect end to our mini vacation."

"Me, my mom & sister stayed a long weekend for mothers day. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Check in was easy and communication with the host was top notch. The master bedroom is very nice, and the cabin itself is well laid out and very comfortable. We enjoyed downtown Lowell and a trip to meijer gardens in grand rapids (only a 20 min drive.) We would absolutely stay here again!"

"The house was nice and cozy, and we had a good time. We really enjoyed kayaking the different lakes, and we look forward to going back again. The cons of this rental would be that the water is dark/weedy and you can't see into it. There was a swimming raft on the property, which did not have a ladder attached to it. I am not sure how someone could even climb onto said raft."
