Irondequoit hotels in Rochester

"The customer service at this hotel is very poor. I normally don’t like to complain but there were just too many things that were not good about this stay. First, I booked a two queen bed room and when we went to our room we saw that we were given a room with only 1 king bed and a pull out sofa. I was not happy about it but I thought, I’d just roll with it. When we entered our room and went to hang our jackets in the closet we noticed a scarf hanging there. It was very obvious that when the room was cleaned the housekeeping staff never bothered to look in the closet. There were no sheets or pillows provided for the pull out sofa in the room. When we called down for sheets we were told to go down to the front desk to pick them up ourselves. In every other hotel I have stayed in, they always bring the sheets or towels we request to the room. On the night before leaving I had asked if it would be possible for the person to help me put a freezer pack in their freezer since our room fridges did not have a freezer portion. The girl refused. I asked why not and she said she didn’t know. I was very disappointed. Overall I found that the staff were not very helpful and the front desk staff were always on their personal cellphones. I would not recommend this hotel due to the poor service."

"Rooms look like the inside cabin, in the hull of a cruise ship. So tiny, no sitting area, staff had terrible attitude. I checked out a day early and the desk clerk told me I could not checkout until the next day and I left, I had a plane to catch. What property tell you, you can’t leave? I will never stay here again. AND people were smoking in their rooms on the second floor and nothing happened even though it’s a smoke free property."

"Just a one night stay for the museum next door, pool deck wasn't as clean as it could have been but other than that everything was very nice."

"The room wasn’t cleaned properly there was urine on the toilet base there was still mounds on cleaning product I assume in the toilet bowl. There were hairs every where kids stickers stuck to the mirror it was a horrible stay"

"Well, when we went to go check in, we could not even though we got there at 6 o’clock so we had to come back at seven and there was still food in the refrigerator from the previous guest and in the drawers there wasn’t enough towels in the bathroom and there was still hair in the shower and garbage in the bathroom on the floor! "
