Ísafjörður is a beautiful little town and we wish we had more time to visit! The hotel was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would for sure recommend staying at this hotel!

Gem of a hotel

Friendly, welcoming staff. The hotel had a warming atmosphere. Location was tremendous, surrounded by mountains and fjords. Parking available. And the restaurant food was tremendous.

Only complaint is that the entrance was a bit icy (but of course this was middle of winter). Staff very helpful and room very comfortable with amazing view. Will definitely return again.

Great hotel in the heart of Ísafjörður! The staff was very accommodating, as we were checking it quite late. They waited for us to serve us dinner, which was delicious. All the staff was super friendly: recepction, at the breakfast buffet, etc. We stayed in high-floor room and had a beautiful view of town. Really a great stop on a wonderful trip to Iceland.

Very clean and modern hotel

Very helpful and accommodating staff. Everything was completely spotless and clean, the room and other facilities. There are bins in each floor for trash and sorting recyclables, which I find very practical. Nice breakfast. Absolutely no cons.

Fantastic view of the fjord & snow-capped mountains. Dining room & bar were great. However, guest rooms are severely dated & need a renovation. I could easily tell this was built in early 1980s & has not been updated. Needs to be. That carpet alone is nasty!

Liked the location and property. Did not like the staff especially when we asked to see if we can have dinner, was recommended that the restaurant was booked and that we should go and have food in a different facility.. came back later from having dinner at a closeby restaurant and the dining hall in the restaurant had plenty of empty seats at the time we originally wanted to have dinner .

Friendly & helpful staff. Spacious room with beautiful view of the harbor. Delicious free breakfast as well as wonderful purchased lunch and dinner in restaurant. Only complaints: 1.) absolute lack of parking space (designated lot was consistently full); 2.) shower soap/shampoo was very poor (it could just as well have been plain water).
