The owners are incredibly friendly and so helpful. The rooms and communal spaces are incredibly clean and welcoming in a lovely traditional japanese style. Would absolutely recommend!!

Cozy Japanese room near Kabira Bay
We had an amazing time at Jouya. We stayed in a cozy Japanese style room and felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accomodating and helped with any of our requests including helping deliver a pair of shoes I forgot when we checked out. There is an amazing snorkeling beach nearby (Yonehara) and a delicious bakery and okonomiyaki restaurant within walking distance. I'm so glad we chose to stay at Jouya!

A nice small family operating hotel.
Very friendly staffs they always willing to help in every aspect. Room is small, this is normal in Japan, but excepationally clean and comfortable. Located in a quiet town with some small restaurants and shops nearby.

Good place located right at the Kabira Bay
Everything is good except for the loud running on wood board early at 6am one day. Must be some kids staying at the Jouya.

Excellent Location and excellent stay!
The place is very clean. There was a warm welcome every day. Great varied breakfasts were served every day and the manager took time to get to know guests and what they were planning to visit. I really recommend staying here. I plan to return!

久しぶりの宿泊でした。川平での常宿です。コロナ禍の最中に客室をリニューアルされていて、畳も琉球畳風でイグサのにおいかして良かった。 室内も綺麗でした。 ただ一つ気になったのが、以前 室内にあったタオル干し用のラックが無かったので不便でした。 その他はほぼ満足でした。

少し古めかしいホテルですが、とても清潔感があって、フロントの方の対応もとても親切です。 また川平湾付近の観光地やお店へのアクセスも良いです。 部屋着はないので持参必須ですね。

Ihanaa Rikan Jouyassa. Great at Rika's Jouya.
Pieni sukellusloma Kabirassa Ishikagi-saarella. Valitsimme Jouya-hotellin kuvien perusteella. Olikin napakymppi: mukava, kotoisa, siisti. Huippuystävällinen emäntä Rika! Sukelluksetkin aivan mainioita. A brief diving holiday at Kabira, Ishikagi. Pictures of hotel Jouya attracted out attention - and the place turned out to be just perfect. Comfortable, cosy, clean. You cannot find a better hostess the Rika-san! Very lucky with the diving, too.

また行きたいお宿
川平湾そばで、便利でした。昼下がり宿について荷物を置いて、グラスボートに乗りました。一旦帰り、夕食は近くのお店に。 散歩気分で歩いていけました。翌日は、近くのお店でシュノーケリング。朝ごはんはシンプルですが焼き立ての鮭と納豆など。 お部屋も清潔で、宿のご主人ご夫婦も感じよかったです。トイレの排水音が大きいのに少しびっくりしましたが、自分の部屋の音しか聞こえないので、慣れました。風呂タブのカーテンを新しくしてもらえたら満点！のお宿だと思いました。お世話様になりました。

清潔なお部屋と気持ちの良いサービス
10ヶ月のこども連れで宿泊しました。お部屋の設備は最低限ですが、広々とした畳のお部屋で、余計なものもなく、清潔で、ハイハイまっさかりのこどもにはとても快適な環境だったようです。お部屋からは美しい川平湾も見えました。 朝食は大人もこどもも同じ内容でしたが、こども用にはりんごの皮をむいてくださったりなど気遣っていただけて助かりました。 スタッフの方も気さくで気持ちよく、また機会があれば利用したいです。 アメニティーは歯ブラシとリンスインシャンプー、ボディソープが備え付けてありましたので、女性の方は普段使っているものを持参すると安心です。

オーナーは親切ですべての客に声をかけ話をするよう努めていることが伺えました。朝食付きでしたが、品質の良い材料で丁寧に準備されていました。機会があれば夕食も試してみたいと思いました。
