"The property is wonderful. Cons: My wife got food poisoning from the sushi in bed for 2 days, Needs a bar at the beach. The pool water is to warm needs to be recycled with fresh water. The nightly entertainment is outside so no air conditioning after a hot day. Pros: Staff is very friendly. Drinks are good . Food is pretty good. Facility is clean and new. Housekeeping is wonderful ( Elisabeth) Wet bar in the room . Beach is the best. Dont get bothered on the beach from vendors."

"I absolutely loved my stay at Secrets. The entire resort was beautifully designed, calming, elegant, and truly high-end. I especially loved that the restaurants were not buffet-based and that reservations weren’t required, which made dining so much more enjoyable and stress free. At every restaurant the experience was amazing. The view from my Junior Ocean Suite was breathtaking. Waking up every morning and watching the sunrise from my room was definitely one of my favorite parts of the stay. The staff were always so welcoming, attentive, and helpful, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was an amazing stay, and I would absolutely return."

"Resort was well maintained and close to the beach. The staff were very friendly. The restaurants were good as well with some decent variety. It was hard to get money if you wanted to tip the staff. Only thing I didn't like was the gift shop where the prices were outrageous. ($40 USD for a bottle of sunscreen) I would still recommend this place to friends. It was about an hour away from the Cancun airport so you will need a taxi or transfer service."
