Property was fine. Room was clean and spacious. Not enough pool chairs, reservations at all restaurants are a MUST before you arrive or you will not get a table. Tipping is very much expected after each transaction you have to sign a bill after each drink or food order made (even if you get the all-inclusive package) which is annoying. We observed many frustrated guests during our stay arguing with staff (front desk, restaurants). For the amount of money I paid in comparison to other resorts we’ve stared at in Mexico, it wasn’t the best experience and I would not stay here again.

We had an amazing experience at this resort! The food was incredible, the service from everyone was top-notch, and the all-inclusive experience made everything so easy. The rooms were beautifully updated, and beach access was super convenient. We had so much fun and will definitely be back!

Rooms were clean and tidy any time you come back to your room ..Staff was so helpful .on the pool or in the restaurant they treat you as their own personal guest. The room was clean and the staff was mostly nice. The seaweed on the beach was terrible and every day someone drove a big tractor back and forth but it didn’t really do much. The restaurants and food options were ok, nothing special. I didn’t appreciate being handed to a concierge right after check in when it became clear his sole job and purpose was to try and sell me a timeshare presentation with free breakfast. Why do I care about free breakfast at an all inclusive resort? The part that really put us off was the tipping and tab system at this “all inclusive resort.” Every time you got up from a beach chair or were ready to leave a meal you were brought a phone that showed you what your bill “would be” had you paid for it and then suggested a tip based on that. Because the resort is “no cash” I suspect that many of the tips I paid (again, suggested tips based on exorbitant suggested prices”) did not make its way into the hands of the employees. No wonder their effort was just ok. Just OK was the perfect way to describe it. The room was nice, but the all inclusive aspect is supposed to be relaxing and it definitely was not. PS- it’s a non smoking resort and when someone was smoking right next to our dinner table, the waiter just laughed at my 14 year old son for mentioning it. Stay somewhere else. We will next time.

This property was immaculate. Great food, stunning beach, gorgeous rooms and pools. The staff were incredible. It’s important to note that things are very quiet in the evenings. Not much for nightly entertainment like in other resorts but that suited us fine. Also, not an abundance of things for kids to do. Still loved it though.

The room and overall space of the hotel was clean. The food was good. Some of staff were rude. The way they approached us or talking to us was very rude and disrespectful.

Over all excellent We liked very much service in the room, we enjoyed the food and all amentties We kindly recomand: the procedure of getting into the buffet needs to be revised, as it takes up to 15 minutes to be seated, especially with kids it is not very convinient to wait this much time! Also we recomand to train some of the stuff not to push for tip. As it is all inclusive, tip needs to be optional!

Amazing resort with great rooms and amenities with a great ocean view from the room and balcony. My family was amazed. Staff feels like family as they treat you so well. The food was good, but the best dining required limited reservations. The seamless integration with next door Garza Blanca resort pools and campus was also nice. Would definitely come back.

The resort is absolutely gorgeous. The resort is big and the rooms are beautiful and clean. The staff is very friendly and they go over and beyond to offer you the best service. The food was delicious. Best resort my family has ever been to. Plenty of activities for the kids. I highly recommend this resort.

This was my first time in Cancun and it was great experience at Villa de Palmar. My froom was big for two with kitchen, 2 bathrooms, large living room and bed room. Everything was good, room service was good, fast and professional. Food was good too but they didn’t have much options for you. But if you are not picky eater, it would be good for you.

My family of 5 and I stayed here for 5 nights and definitely enjoyed ourselves. We did an excursion but booked through Expedia. The beach area was nice and rooms were more than accommodating. The chairs by the main pool by the beach were always filled up so we did not get to swim there much but the kids pool was definitely fun. You do have to get up at 7am to get chairs by the pool. The property should consider adding more chairs somewhere. The restaurants were decent. We walked to the sister property next door and their Japanese restaurant was excellent! I would recommend staying here for sure.

Villa Del Palmar exceeded our expectations. The rooms were extremely spacious. The food was incredible! Best all-inclusive food we've ever had. The restaurants are phenomenal. Great activities/amenities for children who are young to older children. Watersports and the inflatable obstacle course were a hit! Highly recommend for families!

Room and the facilities in general are clean. Love all the staff, they are super friendly and helpful. Food was good and so as the drinks! Beach was beautiful and calm. The resort was only 15 minutes away from Isla Mujeres, great for snorkeling! We felt safe in the resort and will definitely recommend this place to other families.
