"The staff was very kind every time we came through the lobby. They had water available which we used to fill our water bottles before venturing out for the day. They also provided beach towels for us to use. Although the pool was closed our first day there, it was really nice to be able to use the other days. The attached restaurant and sports bar was our ”go-to” when watching the World Cup games, offering food and drink specials during the games. The hotel also gives a discount coupon for the restaurant (but it cannot be stacked with the already great specials). The location was perfect! I was just across from our favorite beach and close to many markets and places to eat. We walked most days. The only downside was the beds are not that comfortable, unless you prefer a super firm bed. We would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!"

"I had great experience staying at Jaguar Hotel. Everyone working at the hotel was amazing. From the moment you get there until you leave. The food was delicious and the view to the ocean is spectacular. I how the ocean was only a couple of steps away from your room. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who just wants to get away for a couple of days."

"We’ve traveled to many different AI over the years and this one is definitely not a traditional entertainment resort. It is quiet and low key with a mix of as much fun as you desire to have. The suite rooms are so spacious, with separate living spaces like you would find in a condominium. The location is the best, with only steps between you and the beautiful, blue water and the quaint island town that is full of shops and eating establishments."

"Loved our stay at The Mint Resort. The staff was amazing and answered any questions we had. The hotel was kept clean and our room was very spacious. Major plus that the AC worked great and never had trouble with the hot water. The only downside was that there is construction happening around the resort but that’s out of the hands of the resort. Overall the location was great and walkable from Playa Norte. Tons of restaurants around the area. We would definitely come back here again in the future."
