“Megan kindly confirmed our stay, when I called a few days ahead. The space looked fresh and recently redecorated. Loved the coffee/espresso machine, pasteries and cookies. What a fantastic room we stayed in - a corner room with two windows overlooking East Bay. The Alexandra Inn was a really wonderful surprise!”

“We love how big the rooms are with amazing views of the bay. The beach area is well-maintained and the free breakfast is appreciated although there could be a better assortment of foods. Great hotel for families, located close to many things to do for kids in the area. The outdoor pool was being serviced while we were there so was no water in it or the hot tub which was disappointing. This is our 2nd time staying here and we would go back, the kids love it there.”

“The room was outdated in decor. We loved the location right on the beach and I spent a lot of time sitting outside. But the tiled floor needed mopping and wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. The breakfast in a bag was just a tragedy. For the price I paid for the room a skimpy, cold, cellophane wrapped item that I need to microwave just didn't cut it. The room was not cleaned in the three days we were there, and additional towels were not provided. Several times we requested additional……

“The room was clean and comfortable. It looks just as described. Staff friendly. I think it was very affordable and close to everything we wanted to see. It is a real gem. My only issue was the beach access- we only seen a private entrance to it but we didn’t ask if we were allowed to use it. I would definitely stay again!”

“Stayed here for a weekend and when we checked-in the room did not seem fully cleaned, such as not many toiletries and definitely not properly vacuumed. It wasn’t horrible but noticeable. I booked for 3 people in a double room and they didn’t seem to have prepared for that or noted it, so we had to ask for some extra stuff such as pillows and towels. The bathroom was okay, not in the most modern best shape and only given very little in hygienic items (toilet paper and soap). There was AC but the……

“The room was clean, nice shower and hot water. The hot water did not work in the bathroom sink. The mattress had a dip on one side (kind of a hole), the door to the hall would pop open even when locked. We came back from an event and our room door was open. It also popped open early in the morning (luckily the chain was latched). Housekeeping staff was friendly, although we did not request services during our stay. Our particular room was a loft style, which required a long, narrow, steep set……
