“Loved my stay at Poet's Cabin! The cabin was adorable, clean and cozy. It's even nicely decorated outside so you're charmed at first sight. The owners were fantastic and responsive, even when I arrived late at night, and provided a detailed guide to the area, tips and recommendations, as well as a heads up on a local event that affected local roads/travel. I only wish I could have stayed longer! If I return to the area, Poet's Cabin will be my first pick.”

“Awesome place for our stay. House is nicely decorated, recently updated, and enjoyable. I love the overall theme! The third bedroom is enclosed on the second floor with a seating area in the loft. We had easy access to Acadia and Southwest Harbor for activities, hiking, and food. Dog friendly and quiet neighborhood. Thanks for offering your house for rental. ”

“My friends and I were in town to run the Mount Desert Island half marathon and hike Acadia National Park. We greatly appreciated the amenities provided and cleanliness and warm feeling of the house. The sunroom was a great place to relax. This was the perfect location for us and town was very walkable. Would highly recommend a stay here! ”
