“We were lucky enough to arrive on a bright, sunny day, highlighting the beautiful view from the Seamill Hydro, which was a great start. We checked in slightly early to be told that our room was already available so we were able to unpack abd then make the most of the swimming pool, before getting ready for dinner. Unfortunately the Orangery was under refurbishment, however dinner was provided in the Aura bar instead. The staff on check in, and in the restaurant, were all friendly and very……

“Edwardian facade with a modern chic interior. I stayed in the Corrie Suite. One of the nicest hotel rooms I've stayed in. Large, airy, bright room, nicely decorated. Very few staff on as it was low season. The one criticism would be the food was always luke warm ”

“We had an early ferry to Islay the next morning, and the staff were so thoughtful to prepare our breakfast ahead of time and leave it at the front desk. Great service and nice, comfortable room. The hotel is also very close to the ferry terminal — only about a 10-minute drive, which was very convenient.”
