Great stay

Great stay, perfect location with easy access to trams, new Galataport mall nearby. Hotel aesthetic is great, just didn’t realise the sink was actually in the room!

The staff were amazing, set up a beautiful cake for our anniversary. Also were really warm and helpful whenever we walked through the lobby. The room and gym spa was also new and loved the style. Nice to have the spa in a busy city like Istanbul

Had a great time and the staff was so sweet. The spa was amazing. However the cost of everything was more than anywhere else in Turkey. The restaurant was super costly for no reason. The room we did get though was a Bad corner room that looked at a wall and we told them it was our honeymoon. Pretty disappointed with the view, but staff made experience better. Pool is so cool

Excellent staff, spa facilities were surprisingly very impressive and the spa manager and everyone that worked there was professional, friendly and helpful. Often in hotels with spas they are sub standard and the staff aren't invested but this wasn't the case here. The location was perfect. The only one thing we disliked was the glass doors to the bathroom and so close to the bed and broken flooring in the bedroom. Otherwise we absolute would stay again.

Overall positive as the location of the hotel is great but we were not impressed by the floor and the room we were in. We stayed on the first floor with no balcony access.. we were facing a wall so no natural light came in. The room was smaller than anticipated. Time to time, we smelled sewage… especially if the AC was not on… which was not pleasant. Complimentary breakfast was good and staff were nice except when we were checking out, the cleaning lady was awkwardly standing outside waiting for us.. before our checkout time which rushed us out the door.

Overall the hotel was ok but for this price you receive what you pay for. Getting an Uber to pick and drop off is a little challenging. Drinks at the bar are extremely overpriced and the staff don’t disclose the prices. I ordered multiple times a simple drink and I get charged $30 for the drink - that’s more than I pay in Miami! Rooms are more on the smaller size and avoid staying on the 2nd floor. The windows are street level and people are walking by so you can’t really have your blinds opened.

Insgesamt nur mäßig. Von außen sieht das Hotel Burdock klasse aus. Dableiben jedoch einige kleine Wünsche offen die sich sammeln. Wir hatten Zimmer mit Cityview gebucht, auf dem Foto mit Blick auf den Galatatower, dafür den Aufpreis in Kauf genommen. Jedoch gab es nur einen Blick auf die stark befahrene Strasse mit gegenüberliegenden großen Gebäuden. Von einem Cityblick kann nicht die Rede sein. Das Frühstück ist OK, allerdings kostet es 27,50€ pro Person, wenn es nachträglich im Hotel gebucht wird.Das ist unverhältnismäßig für die Frühstücksauswahl. Direkt in den Zimmer befinden sich eine Toilette und eine Dusche, die lediglich durch satiniertes Glas getrennt sind. Das Waschbecken und der Spiegel sind quasi direkt vor dem Bett. Raus aus der Toilette zum Waschbecken ist nicht schön. Es gibt also keinerlei Privatssphäre, wenn man als Päärchen reist. Pillern und pupsen quasi direkt im selben Raum. Naja, eher unschön. Es besteht keine Möglichkeit sich alleine in einem Badzimmer ungestört aufzuhalten oder vorzubereiten, schminken, etc. Ganz am Rande erwähnt und nicht wirklich ein Thema, aber kurz erwähnt: Kaffeekapseln gab es immer nur auf Anfrage. Die benutzten Kaffeetassen, wurden nicht durch neue ersetzt. Ein zweites Mal werden wir das Hotel nicht aufsuchen und empfehlen kann ich es daher auch nicht.
