Air conditioning ✅ Amazing location ✅ we were able to walk to all the major sites and take the tram to others! Safe ✅ lots of restaurants nearby Amazing front desk 24 hour service ✅ they arranged our transport with fixed rates do we knew what we were paying for taxi. The airport pick up was tricky since we got delayed but they accommodated us and it’s a big Mercedes van. Overall, I would say good for what you pay for. I would stay here again.

Absolutely perfect location for so many things!! 5 minutes from the waterfront in one direction, 10 minutes from Hague Sophia and the Blue Mosque in the other. Transit easily reachable in a 10-15 minute walk. Despite being so close to the very crowded square, the street around the hotel is very peaceful, with staggered streets that make it quiet and calm when you come back from being out. Staff were very friendly and helpful (thank you so much for carrying my bags up and down the stairs!). There is no lift, which after a long day walking up and down the hills of Istanbul would have been nice, but this is the only teeny negative I could say. Will definitely stay here again and have already suggested to friends!!

At the heart of the old city, within walking distance to Blue Mosque, Hagis Sophia abd Topkapi Palace. Staff was very friendly. Top hospitality, fantastic breakfast, and all that for a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

Great Hotel in a great location !

I was really pleased and very happy with this hotel. The front desk folks were always kind and chatty with us and were more than happy to offer any services and/or answer questions. Breakfast was FABULOUS! Great variety of food and they slightly changed it up every day. There was even chocolate cake one morning, come on? Chocolate cake? YES PLEASE!! The room was fantastic, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were nice. Great overall experience with a Bed and Breakfast small hotel feel to it. Big fan. Also, the main touristy activities such as Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque and Sultan Palace was less than 10 minutes walking so a great deal and a great way to save money.

I really like the room I upgraded to. It was spacious, clean and the bed was super comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to the major attractions in the area and it's also a quiet area, no noise and safe. Would highly recommend especially to first time visitors to Istanbul.

Getin and Mohamed at the front desk are awesome. Beside helping you with the hotel checkin and stay, they go beyond to wow you by assisting you with restaurant, hamam bath, city tour, transportation……. They do it all with pleasure and smile. I would stay here again.

Our stay at Esans hotel was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful! They went above and beyond to assist in planning and booking activities/transportation. Special shoutout to the front desk staff for all their help! The included breakfast was very appreciated. It was filling and enjoyable. The staff preparing breakfast were so kind. Location was also great, very close to landmarks. Overall, we had an amazing stay!

location is excellent, walking distance from major sites. nice quiet street with old stairs and cats. very friendly staff. clean room and bathroom the economy rooms are very small which is fine if you are out the entire day, they are however literally in the lobby and it can be noisy when guests come in late. breakfast is nothing spectacular but will feed you appropriately. The big plus is that you can eat it on the terrace that has a Seaview.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The room cleaned every day, mattress was perfect, the view was nice, staff was always very respectful and helpful! The rooftop breakfast was a nice touch! I think the only thing that could improve is the deli meats diversity for breakfast and greens, but that is a matter of personal preference. Overall, we loved our stay at this historic hotel so close to the Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace! Thank you for everything!

Great for layover stay

I stayed here on a 17 hour layover. It was comfortable and clean, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices have changed on shuttles to and from airport unlike the listing it is actually 50 euros. Shuttle was great. I did not get to enjoy breakfast as my flight was really early . The hotel is in a safe and convenient area , which suited me well as a solo woman traveller. It is not a fancy hotel but it has everything you need for a short stay .
