Brilliant location, easy walking distance to everything in the old town. Room was small but with a juliet balcony, fridge and aircon was ideal. Beautiful buffet breakfast included in the room price.

The brekfasts were inspirational, nutritionally satisfying with fresh fruits, delicious meats, local breads and pastries, and of course, plenty of morning beverages. You left breakfast reluctantly because there was always something more you could have enjoyed.... but you were well fortified for a hard day of sighseeing. Breakfasts were such an inspiration i planned to redo my morning meal when i returned home. Our rooms, though sparten were comfortable and spotless. The location could not have been better. The hotel is only 100 yards from the Hippodrone and 150 yards from the Blue Mosque while on a quiet street. I had a .large window and balcony overlooking the Hippodrone square. The Tukoman is an old hotel with no elevator ane all rooms are up stairs quite steep so it is not a place for people who are not very agile. But the staff, the care and comfort, plus its small size and its internal clientele makes it the place i would like to stay in again.

Väldigt gammalt hotell, mycket sliten, håll i handdukar och sängkläder, smutsfläckar på sänggaveln, urgammalt badrum som behöver renovering snarast. Smutsfläckar på överkast. Trots allt både handdukar och sängkläder var rena. Men hotellens läge gjorde att jag stannade kvar. Kommer aldrig mer boka detta hotellet, tyvärr det är inte värt pengar.

Muy amable Mustafà nos ayudó en todo momento explicándonos en Inglés cómo llegar de un lugar a otro, buenos desayunos, camas cómodas, baño limpio. Lo recomiendo por la cercanía a las Mezquitas Azul, Hagia Sofía cisterna basílica, restaurantes, bazar de especias y gran bazar....lo recomiendo bastante.

Family friendly, perfect stay!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The staff was very family friendly, and we enjoyed getting to know all of them for the short time we were there. The views from the terrace and our bedroom were breathtaking. We got to start off each morning with a delicious breakfast, and it was great to go back to a room with a strong AC during the hot days. Highly recommend.

素晴らしい滞在となりました。 今回は口コミを拝見してホテルを決めましたが正解でした。 イスタンブールには何度も来ていて高級なホテルから低価格なホテルまで色々と宿泊しましたが、スタッフの皆さんの優しさと安心感があるホテルというのはなかなかないと思います。 ホテル自体は新しいわけではないですが、ゲストを迎える為にホテルは綺麗に整えられ、大事にホテルを運営されている事が伝わります。 24時間フロントにスタッフさんが居て下さるのも安心でしたし、観光にも適した立地、色々な種類がある朝食をモスクが見える素晴らしいロケーションで頂けます。 機会があれば是非またトゥルコマンさんに訪れたいと思います。 ありがとうございました。

I had a pleasant stay. The location is great for access to the main tourist sites. My room was comfortable and the front desk service was good. In small ways the property is a little worse for wear and in need of maintainance, or even an upgrade. But overall unless you want everything "just so" this is a good value choice for a stay of a few days.

On a small street within view of the Blue Mosque. The staff was very helpful especially when electrical power unexpectedly failed—not the hotel’s fault but the utility’s. (Power was restored in a few hours.) A charming small hotel in the historic old city.

The hotel needs updating. Toilet bowl had a problem and water won't stop running. A/C didn’t work and fan was stuck. Staff was great! Breakfast was great. Very short walk to important sites in Sultanahmet Square. This is the best part. Dining around the area is great! Pricey but great. Parking is difficult but was accommodated by the hotel. Don't bring a car. Just avail of their shuttle service.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in der Nähe zur blauen Moschee (1 Min) und der Hagia Sophia (5 Min.). Es liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Tram, so dass man überall schnell hinfahren konnte. Das Hotel hat vom Frühstückssaal einen sehr schönen Ausblick auf die Blaue Moschee und auch das Frühstück variiert täglich und es gibt ausreichend um sich für den Tag zu stärken. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und stets bemüht einem behilflich zu sein. Man versteht sich auch ohne große Sprachkenntnisse ausreichend und an der Rezeption kann man sich über Wege, Exchange-Büros und sonstige Attraktionen informieren. Alles in allem war es ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt und ich würde das Hotel Turkoman bei einem erneuten Besuch in Istanbul erneut buchen!
