This apartment has all the things one needs for a long stay but no satisfied. They need to change their bed sheets, pillow covers, duvet covers that are very old & are worn out. Kitchen is good with all its utensils & utilities. Istaklal street 8-10 minutes walk while Taksin Square at a distance of 20 - 25 minutes walk. Helpful & cooperative front desk staff.

Çalışanlar sıcak, güleryüz ve ilgili. Koca bir teşekkürü hakediyorlar. I'like to thank to Berry Life for their hospitality and warmness. Clean and comfortable room with 24 hour running water was more than enough. I could easily reach the city center, especially Galatasaray and Asmalımescit in 5 mnts by walking.

Also erstmal muss ich sagen sind die Arbeiter sehr sehr nett, die kommen sehr entgegen wenn man irgendwelche Probleme hat. Aber das man zwei junge Frauen im Erdgeschoss, wo man keinen Empfang hat, einquartiert finde ich gar nicht gut, da wir auch sehr Angst hatten wegen der Umgebung wo sich das Hotel befand. Das Zimmer hat auch sehr gestunken wir haben uns ein paar mal beschwert da wurde nur ein Geruchsspray gemacht mehr nicht. Im Zimmer befanden sich rote Käfer haben uns da auch beschwert, die meinten es wird mit Insekten Spray gesprüht aber paar Tage später gabs die immer noch. Was ich auch blöd fand und sowas geht gar nicht, das ist Datenschutz, hat mir einer aus dem Apartment (der auch einquartiert war) in Facebook geschrieben.

(-)Dirty neighbourhood. No comfortable bed. High price. Old building. No view. Not a good ambiance. Bad check-out experience (they knocked on the door at11.45 and said if we needed help with the bags, just implying that we should leave right away/checkout time was 12.00. They put cleaning stuff in front of the door and someone waited for cleaning just outside the room). (+) partially kind staff. Close to bus station. Close to istiklal street/taksim square.

Wrong side of Beyoğlu

I would not recommend it as it is located at the wrong side of Beyoğlu. Garbage everywhere, crumbling buildings, stray dogs and negative energy. Istanbul is a beautiful city and there are plenty clean nice hotels for every budget in a clean area with a positive energy you just have to look for it. I stayed in Besiktas and Fatih and it was perfect. If you want to stay at Beyoğlu look at the trams side/where the trams is, this area are clean, has positive energy and close to everything. When I stayed at Berry Life there was one 12 hrs electricity cut and one water cut for 30 hrs, which is highly inconvenient. The room was smelly even after I bought air freshener, air conditioning only has one temperature, twice when I woke up in the morning the bathroom floor was filled with water don’t know where the water came from. I think hotels.com has to check physically which hotel and rooms are acceptable not just relying on photos only.

Otel genel olarak güzel ama tuttuğunuz oda -2 olursa telefon çekmiyor. ve duşluk çok soğuktu. Otel sandığımızdan güzeldi. Yatak örtüleri daha temiz olabilirdi. Oda kapısının etrafı strafor olabilir kapının yanında ki mutfak tarzı yerde çok konuşuluyordu ve ses olduğu gibi içerdeydi. Tabi buna rağmen iyiydi.

the building is a bit old but well maintained. all staffs were very friendly and always took care of us. we had lots of luggages and there was no elevator but they helped us when we checked in/out. they also offer free luggage storage service for customers. Recommended for others.

Hi I am from India and I went to hotel before day of my booking to see the room comfort and other things. My first impression was bad relating to the locality, because the road is very steap and near by there is nothing available and it's one way also if I am right. Next, when I saw the room in underground two floors below with out windows. I immediately came out and asked the guy in reception to provide me another room for which I will pay the difference. He said very politely, if possible tomorrow when you come to check in we will provide you another room. The next day me and my friend went to the hotel at about 1.30 pm and met another guy in reception and the owner and family is also there. The guy said that there is a note of my request about room and the owner says something in Turkish language to receptionist. This guy says to me that there is Government rule says not to give room for one day to the guests. It should be at least Two or three days it seams. I never come across this kind of rule any where. Then I decided to walk out and took luggage and went to Istiklal street in searching of another hotel. My complaint about the hotel is , even though my booking of hotel is my mistake,they gave me wrong rule of Government and denied accommodation even after I was ready to pay the difference amount. The hotel is not as it is shown it site. Thank you.
