I’m not sure why this property is rated high. Nothing special here. Very noisy from surroundings. NO AC, yes it’s false advertisement for air conditioning, it doesn’t work. You’ll have to open the windows because it’s hot and again you can’t sleep because of the noise. Bring your white noise machine.The staff were nice, they helped me with local recommendations and got me a taxi to go the airport. In The room, things weren’t working properly, lights weren’t bright enough, and other things

Sehr zentral gelegen, in 2 Gehminuten ist man auf der Istiklal Straße. Die Zimmer sind leider sehr hellhörig also bis ca. 1 Uhr Nachts hört man den Lärm von der kleinen Durchweg Straße, da dort auch Pubs ums Eck sind. Mit Ohrstöpseln aber absolut nicht zu hören - kleiner Tipp - Betten waren sehr bequem und es gibt einen super Service, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und total hilfsbereit. Wir kommen wieder !!

Stayed September 2022. Overall was what I wanted. Safe, quiet, and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Only inconvenience is the property was a bit hard to find, you have to really know where you're going when looking for it. Otherwise, I give it 5 stars overall!

While the property was not so easy to find in the first instance as it is on a side street, once checked in and familiar with the navigation, it is a stone's throw from the popular Istiklal Street and Taksim Square. There is a tram stop Tophance and metro stop Sishane within walking distance, which makes it convenient to go anywhere in Istanbul. Even though there are lots of bars and pubs nearby, our room on the 4th floor was quiet as it faced the residential blocks behind. Ask for Room 8 if it is available. The service staff at the reception was most helpful and every request is attended to swiftly. Room is large, clean and we cannot ask for more. Internet connectivity was fast and good. I cannot ask for more at the price that we paid.

The lokatie was perfect, als je de gezelligheid wilde opzoeken hoefde je maar kleine 40m te lopen, dan liep je zo het straatje in met allemaal eetcafeetjea in en de straat daarchtwr een mega grote en lange winkelstraat in. Gewoon geweldig zo hoe het daar keeft, en terug in je hotel hoorde je niets.

Just close enough to Istikal Street to walk there easily, and just far enough to avoid the noise and much of the craziness of the nightlife. Very historic hotel, everything was clean and the hosts were excellent. Highly recommend this place!

El hotel está en una zona céntrica de bares y restaurantes, cerca de metro y tranvía. La habitación es pequeña pero tiene de todo. Nos hospedamos en una parte del hotel que no disponía de ascensor. El chico de recolección muy atento nos marcó en el mapa los puntos de interés y transportes.

A home away from home
The location is perfect for exploring Istanbul if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Sultanahmet, but still close enough that its easily accessible within 10 minutes by public transport. Galata tower is about a 5 minute walk and Istiklal street is a few streets behind. The hotel itself is in a quiet street away from any noise, minimalistic and with a selection of rooms at excellent price points. The team are extremely welcoming and helpful. There are lots of little shops and cafes around for all your needs. This is our second time staying at the Novus Pera Hotel and suffice to say this is our future base for Istanbul breaks. We love it.
