Perfect place with good area

Very nice place to live in eyup sultan. Very beautiful hotel and clean. Right inn the heart of eyup Sultan. Food, cafe shopping. Everything is nearby, I did not se any alcohol in this area, so we enjoyed this place very much. Very close to eyup sultan masjid, so we went there many times. The hotell stuff is not so good in english, but they will try ther best to help you anyway. It was a very good hotel, and will come back again. Those who want to live at a islamic vibe hotel should come her. It only takes 30 min with buss tram and you are at sultan Ahmed etc.

The owner of the property and his son Salih was very helpful and very kind. Even though they couldnā€™t speak fluent English but managed to communicate. Very nice staff members and the guy who helped with luggage.every time you sit in the lobby you get free tea šŸ˜Š.property is very clean and nicely built , rooms and very spacious.I had double bed room but was very big with a seperate living/dressing area within the room.Eyup sultan turbesi/mosque is hardly 5 mins walk . Excellent in every way I would say.the only trouble we had was getting a taxi as this area always have issues with getting taxi on the Bitaksi app. So we walked towards the main road and got taxi after 5 -10 mins of standing there. Overall experience was excellent, I did not have breakfast so donā€™t know about the food but will definitely stay here and would recommend to others too.

I was severely underwhelmed with my stay at Elegant Hotel. From the moment I got there and noticed the wifi did not work. To the subpar breakfast which should have been advertised as nothing more than a little bit of cheese and pastrami. The bathroom had a very disgusting odour and there was no fan. I told the front desk there was no fan and they said ā€œthere isā€ I asked where and he said he would turn it on. There was no fan. The smell as soon as we got there from the bathroom was horrendous they need to check for mould. The shower was dirty and the shower head worked poorly. The faucet had two modes. Extremely powerful or minimal pressure. On the brightside, the room was tidy. The balcony was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The biggest issue I had with my room (106) was the WiFi. There was no connection and in a very specific part of the room, one bar of connection to the wifi. I had to sit in the lobby with my wife to download shows for us to watch and to just simply use the wifi. I had inquired about the weak wifi with the staff and got a blunt response of ā€œthere is wifi in all roomsā€ and then one of the staff members went upstairs and came back down and said there is wifi. He blamed my phone as the problem but all our devices had the same issue. They advertise a sauna and spa and there was none of that. We had set aside a few hours of our day looking forward to utilizing their facilities advertised but were unfortunately mistaken. Very unfortunate part of my trip:/

Safe and calm place to stay in Istanbul.

If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in a very safe part of Istanbul, I would highly recommend this hotel. There are lots of restaurants all around, and this is a more conservative part of Istanbul, which I found refreshing. Everyone at the hotel was very hospitable. And the price was great. Also, there is a commuter train nearby which get you closer to the main parts of Istanbul.

Be prepared to carry all your luggages by yourself all the way to SECOND floor, use stairs to be precise. Be prepared to feed your breakfast to a cat as cat would climb on the table. I donā€™t mind cats but sharing my food with cats on a same plate sounds a little unhealthy.

The Elegant Hotel levde verkligen upp till sitt namn. Rummet var rent, bekvƤmt och kƤndes lyxigt fƶr priset. Personalen var alltid vƤnlig och hjƤlpsam, och frukosten hade bra variation och frƤscha alternativ varje morgon. LƤget Ƥr fantastiskt ā€“ bara en kort promenad till Balat och mĆ„nga historiska sevƤrdheter. I omrĆ„det finns flera smĆ„ butiker, kafĆ©er och en historisk stenugn, Tarihi Taş Fırın, dƤr man kan kƶpa nybakat brƶd och traditionella turkiska bakverk ā€“ verkligen vƤrt ett besƶk. Det finns ocksĆ„ gott om bussar i nƤrheten som gĆ„r direkt till Şişli, Taksim och EminƶnĆ¼, sĆ„ det Ƥr enkelt att ta sig runt i hela Istanbul. Ett elegant, prisvƤrt och bekvƤmt hotell som kombinerar bra standard med ett genuint lokalt omrĆ„de. Jag kommer definitivt tillbaka hit.
