「Easy check in and check out process. If you like the country and mountains this is the place. Conveniently located down the street from the gas station a small store/ restaurant and not a far drive from the Shenandoah National Park. The reason we chose this place is because it is dog friendly and near the Shenandoah mountains. We visited the mountains for some day hikes. The house is nicely kept and spacious with a big yard.」

「Secluded location though a short drive to Shenandoah Natl Park. Fronts on a creek with relaxing sounds of moving water. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great; the furniture downstairs could use an upgrade. Large kitchen area with everything we needed. A nice place to escape for a few days.」

「Bill and Cynthia are such amazing hosts and the property inside and out exemplifies it. What a great place to stay for some serious rural R&R! The property was very clean. They have thought of everything one would need for a delightful get away. If you forgot anything, just ask and they are sure to help one way or another. 「Delightful property in a very private neighborhood. Beautiful view from the porch of the mountain line and the family of deer. They came to visit everyday along with cardinals and hummingbirds. It was peaceful and serene. The house was well stocked, air conditioning and WI-FI worked great. We loved the window seat and so did our dog. She took one look at it and made it her spot. The porch really made the house extra special. Fantastic view and very cozy feel. We really enjoyed our time!」

「Abbey's place worked well for our graduation stay. It is an older property with beautiful solid wood furniture and a comfy feel in a quiet neighborhood about 1.5 miles from UVA. All the amenities are as noted in the listing. The beds were comfortable (not too soft) and the kitchen had everything we needed. Abbey's instructions were clear and she was very responsive when I had trouble logging onto the wifi. There is room to park 2 cars off the street to the left of the house, and with a car UVA...

「Needed a place for family to gather for UVA graduation weekend. The house was a 30 minute easy drive to campus grounds. Also very short drive to Staunton restaurants and great proximity to Afton mountain vineyards. Easy check in, WiFi, ample parking (grass). Enjoyed our stay.」

「Everything was great. Only we were not left any dishwasher detergent. I did call the number you gave me. It only got a voice mail so we hand washed most dishes but had to leave early this AM and left a few cups, etc in dishwasher.」

There is a very professional book in the foyer that gives clear directions and really everything you need to know about the house and the surrounding area. Things are labeled.
