Oceanfront Beachdrifter - 2/2 Condo with lawn - no stairs, best parking

This is one of two oceanfront ground floor condos at The Beachdrifter which open to a lawn, pool, pergola and, of course, the beach, which is just over the dunes. We love our condos (VRBO # 1899645 and # 1125777) here because they are on the beach and we don't need to go up and down stairs or wait for a cramped, hot elevator. Our parking spots are closest to the doors and these condos open to the lawn.

Please note: the higher dunes still allow you to hear the crashing surf and see some ocean, but we can no longer see the waves break on the beach. We still love the convenience of parking next to the door (the closest spot) and walking right into the condo.

Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a king bed, two twins, and a full sofa sleeper, and everything you need for a vacation at the beach. We keep sand castle gear, beach chairs, beach towels, a sun umbrella, etc. And we can provide a pack-and-play upon request for your little ones.

We also have fast wi-fi, streaming TVs, an Apple computer with 27-inch display, wireless music, and more.

We accept dogs on a case-by-case basis for $29 per pet per night. And we have a short pet agreement for you to sign. Please note that the building does not allow pets to enter the common lawn and pool area.

Finally, we pride ourselves in working hard to provide the best service and support to our guests as we know how important it is for you to have a wonderful experience during your stay. You will find that we are quick to respond to questions and prompt with follow-up to any needs you have before, during and after your trip. This condo was perfect for our stay on the beach as a family of 5. Everything was very clean. Being on the first floor was amazing, especially with kids. Having a kitchen and washer and dryer was life changing! They have everything you need and more! The owners were quick to respond to questions. We were worried we would run out of hot water but never even got close with 5 of us showering. There were plenty of towels. The pull out sofa is not an actual mattress but it was perfect for a teenager. The twin beds and king beds were very comfortable. The pool is a great extra, along with the outside shower to rinse off! There is a publix a few minutes away for grocery shopping, along with a fee beachy shops. The actual beach is clean with lifeguards. Busiest on the weekends of course but nice and quiet during the week. We will definitely be back next summer!

Great for a Family Get Away

We rented two side-by-side first-floor condos - Happy Pineapple and Orange You Happy - from the same owner, for our extended family vacation with 8 adults. We had a wonderful time! The condos worked out even better than we expected.The location was great - right beside the pool, and only steps from the beach - and it was perfect that we could bring our dogs with us.We grilled out in front of the condo (there is a small charcoal grill in Happy Pineapple, but we brought our own small weber gas grill and foldable table) and it was so fun to gather around outside to visit and snack while we grilled. I'm not sure that any other place would have worked out as well for us. We will definitely be back!

Condo was conveniently located near the beach and near restaurants and other areas of interest in both Jax and Neptune beaches! We loved having the pool just outside our back door! Condo was well stocked and was very clean! Beds were comfortable! No complaints!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. The location was excellent! The condo was well-appointed with everything we could possibly need. The host and hostess were most accommodating. Our grandchildren loved the pool being right outside our door. We look forward to returning soon!

The weather was perfect for the perfect vacation rental. Home is beautiful and laid out nicely. The condo had all amenities needed to enjoy the beach, pool , cooking , sleeping. Max and Sara are excellent hosts and took very good care of me and my family. Thank you so very much!! I will stay again when I come in the summer!! Great Stay at a Great Location!

Our family of four had a great stay at the condo. The owners went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for our vacation and made check in / check out very simple. The condo was very well equipped and very clean. On top of that, the location is perfect, just steps from the beach and centrally located with respect to all types of dinning options and fun activities. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location, nice accommodations

Stayed for five days to visit elementary school friends ( now 74 years young). Love the condo and location to the beach. Rode our bikes around town which was fun with little traffic. The garbage disposal sprang a leak while we were there owners called a plumber right away was very responsive. Would rent again.

Orange You Happy Condo - Fantastic Experience

Our stay at Orange You Happy Condo was fantastic! The hosts were above accomodating. The condo had every luxury needed and beyond. Our family was very comfortable and enjoyed the close access to the beach and pool. Being on the ground level and having every necessity provided made our beach days fun, relaxing and memorable. Fantastic condo right on the beach. The owners keep it extremely clean and are very good about responding quickly. Very easy check in and check out. The condo has everything you need, including beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels. Fantastic stay that we highly recommend!

Easy and relaxed

No steps is HUGE when you are carrying beach gear, have children or walking issues. We have a little swimmer and being able to open the patio door then watch them walk a few steps to the pool was WONDERFUL! I would rather see a peak of water through the beautiful dunes than take stairs. Great neighborhood, clean beach and pier is nearby. We would stay again.

Great location and amazing hospitality!!!

This was our first family vacation with our one year old so I wanted something that would be able to accommodate him. This property was perfect! It’s within walking distance to the beach, the condo parking is right in front of the entrance and being on the ground floor by the pool and grassy area for him to play was exactly what we needed! The condo itself is nice and clean with large smart TVs that have all your streaming apps. They have a fully loaded kitchen with all the necessities and they also have everything you need for the beach and pool! This included nice, thick beach towels, beach chairs, a tent, beach umbrella, pool toys and beach toys! There is a washer and dryer and they have laundry pods and dishwasher pods for the dishwasher, which was also very nice to have. This condo is pet friendly but you wouldn’t know by looking at it because there are no remnants of dogs in there. This was the perfect condo for our vacay but one of the greatest experiences was the hospitality the owners extended. They were able to accommodate an early check in and late check out. They were very quick in their responses and so helpful with any questions I had. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Jacksonville!

Nice proximity to the beach

We really enjoyed our walks on the beach. The amenities in the kitchen made cooking for the family an easy task. Excellent restaurants are close by if you like to dine out! And our hosts were very responsive for gyrations and assistance. I’d come back again!

Five Star Stay at the Orange Condo

Wonderful stay at the Orange Condo on the beach. Convenient location to many restaurants and attractions. The condo is clean, comfortable, well furnished and has a great parking spot. The property managers were terrific to work with. Special memories in a special place. We would highly recommend the Orange Condo!

Money well spent

I can say without a doubt that our stay was one of the most pleasant I've ever had. I've booked a lot of vacations and rarely have I ever experienced a stay that exceeded all expectations. The condo was beautiful. The location was perfect. The hosts answered all of our questions and they treated us with a kindness that is very difficult to come across. I've owned a business for 41 years so I know about customer satisfaction. I will tell anybody that the hosts truly care.. Its a wonderful feeling when you lay down your hard earned money and come away feeling very good about spending it. I want to thank the hosts again for the way we were treated. They are obviously very proud of the condo and they should be. I tip my hat to them. If that condo is available and you want a great beach stay don't hesitate to book it.

Near the beach

Loved being so close to the beach, Just walked around the building and up the ramp. Very convenient. The apartment was adequate, two bedrooms and two baths. Everything was there to cook, washer and dryer., TV, pool outback and deck chairs. Also chairs and equipment for the beach. Very enjoyable time.
