"The hotel staff was very helpful, having the beach and restaurants right on site was super convenient, a variety of options and not having to drive anywhere for meals in the evening. The proximity to the dive boat and the dive company staff were amazing. The music from Mambo beach one night was pretty loud but it was nice to have the option of nightlife within walking distance"

"Stayed in the ocean front rooms and it was amazing! The staff are incredible and easy access and walking to restaurants. Loved the cabana at the beach, the pool area is quiet and relaxing, endless views of ocean. Classy modern mcm decor in the lobby, rooms are modern decor, groceries on site if needed. Thank you so much for the very thought anniversary dessert, flowers and generosity. Hospitality top notch!"

"We had a fantastic stay at this property. The space is generously sized and immaculately clean throughout, with a lovely pool that quickly became the center of our days. Location is hard to beat — groceries, restaurants, and the beach are all just a short walk away, making Jan Thiel feel very easy to settle into.The layout is smart: private ensuite bedrooms are fully air-conditioned for comfortable sleeping, while the open living room lets the tradewinds do their thing naturally — a nice touch that keeps the space breezy without feeling artificial. The street is quiet and peaceful, which we really appreciated after busy days out.The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed to cook proper meals.One small suggestion for the owners: the upper deck is a great feature with real potential, but a few more comfortable furnishings or some shade would make it genuinely cosy and a spot you'd want to linger on. As it stands it's a bit underutilized.Overall a wonderful home base for exploring that side of Curaçao — highly recommended!"

"Pool was not clean, stove burners only two worked, toilet seat was broken, pool light stayed on until we called about it, did not get proper instructions on how to operate items throughout the house (ie appliances), wifi was weak and speratic. Would not rent here again based on the price point that was paid. "
