Astoria Hotel

Astoria Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The location of the property is excellent, situated on a main road and close to restaurants and shops. There isn’t an elevator but the staff was quick to help us carry our bags up to the second floor. They provided a voucher toward a nice breakfast at the adjoining restaurant. We had a great experience in Jasper. We would stay at the Astoria again!"

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"You can’t go wrong with the Fairmont. It was lovely. You will be walking a lot to get to the main lodge from your accommodations. I didn’t expect that. Also didn’t expect that parking is not nearby. I think you can call the front desk and they will send a golf cart to pick you up if you need assistance. Our room was updated and very comfortable. We went to town for all of our meals. The Fairmont meal and drink prices are definitely resort level. We wanted to stay at a park lodge and it was very nice but I would probably not do it again unless someone else was paying for it. The workout area was wonderful and the pool and hot tub was as well. In general I don’t like the idea of having to pay a daily resort fee. I feel it should be part of the room charge. Every staff member I encountered was helpful and friendly. The location is isolated from the town so you will need transportation if you want to explore the area."
