NY Family Wedding Trip

We enjoyed our time at the Cozy Cabin. It is a quaint place in a quiet wooded neighborhood. Having bathrooms directly off each bedroom is very convenient. The kitchen is well-stocked and the hosts were very kind.

Perfect, charming cottage for family ski trip

We loved the cozy cottage! It IS cozy but also more spacious than it seems in the photos. It was very comfortable for our family of 4 and we appreciated the welcoming gestures such as spices to cook with, coffee, DVDs, extra towels and blankets. The kitcheware is all top quality and the gas fireplace kept us cozy. It's in a quiet, wooded area about a 15 minute drive to Whiteface mountain and 30 minutes to Lake Placid. We would gladly stay here again!

Spring in Ausable Acres

Beautiful area; quiet and relaxing; safe for walking. The best part was the front porch where we spent most of our day. The barbeque grill was great, and it was nice having quality pots and pans, as well as matching dinnerware. We appreciated having salt and pepper as well as spices.

Nice cabin in a woodsy subdivision

Nice place. Outskirts of Jay NY, with lots of space between homes and easy access to the High Peaks areas of the Adirondacks. Spacious cabin, gas grill on the deck, an abundance of outside seating. Although we had a little difficulty getting in (transposed digits on the combination lock), the owner was very easy to contact and addressed the issue in under five minutes.

Great place!

The cabin is so cute and comfy. Everything was very clean. We couldn't have asked for more. I want to go back and stay in the Cozy Cabin next year when all the tourist sites are open.

Great place for a away from home staycation or as a base for exploring the Adirondacks.

The place is well equipped and maintained. Has the facilities for an enjoyable retreat away from home. Also well situated for exploring the Adirondack mountains attractions. Quiet neighborhood with good spacing between the houses provides an out in the woods feel. Good for sleeping two adult couples with perhaps one or two smaller children. Enjoyed the barbecue pit, grill and the small, but well equipped kitchen.

A relaxing getaway

This was our second time staying at the Cozy Cabin and it did not disappoint! It is a few minute drive from incredible views of the high peaks. The beds are comfortable and there was plenty of towels and extra blankets. My husband and I agreed that we will choose the Cozy Cabin over all other options when traveling to Jay. Great value in a quiet vacation neighborhood

The Adirondack cabin is well maintained, well equipped, in a quiet residential neighborhood with large lots. We enjoyed the neighborhood associations hiking (cross country skiing in winter) trails and the fire pit in the back yard. The are a number of Adirondak attractions within a short drive of the cabin. Good value. The campground hosts information and responsiveness were excellent.

Amazing first experience

This was our first time as a family in New York and we couldn't ask for a better experience. The cabin had everything we needed for our first time in the Adirondacks and our first time in the snow. The cabin was cozy just like it said and it is located still within a close drive to main areas. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone that wants to be secluded a little and still be able to see amazing sights, hikes, shopping, and dining.

The Cozy Cabin is a well kept, well equipped unit in a nice mountain community. The cabin is actually larger than the pictures appear to be. I don't think there is one item I could suggest to add that is not already provided by the owner. Cathy is a very nice host and quick to communicate. The Cozy Cabin is close to many attractions and things to do in the area. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

The place was very clean

Over all the place was very clean and the location was great and quiet. The inside was very dark and some of the lighting didn't work, the wifi was very weak. The shower head in the downstairs bathroom should be replaced. You should consider putting a screen door on the front and maybe some ceiling fans,but overall a great couple of days in the ADKs.
