“Very clean, nice interior, outside updated. Quiet area, only thing difficult was finding a place to eat. This is off season so there were no options open to us but grocery store and tv dinners. Yelp would list open but restaurants were not. The Inn is a great value.. oh, and the shower with HOT water was wonderful after a full day at Big Bend. ”

Quiet, lots of games at the lobby, always has it to ourselves to add, loved the dining area where it had a microwave-perfect place for eating the food we brought with us, room 6 was absolutely charming, comfy beds! spotless. Our room also had a fridge, microwave and coffee. Loved that we had Sleeping Mtn for our view-our dogs loved looking out the window. Great stay for our doggies too. I would go back. Lots of eating places next……

“Perfectly, conveniently located, private-feeling house for our family of 3. Well-stocked kitchen was great for making a meal or two a day, which is a good call with the somewhat limited dining options in town on Sundays / Mondays. Beds were comfy with plenty of bedding available. We loved having breakfast on the little patio out back and sitting on the front porch looking at the mountains. We arrived after a very busy weekend and a hard flip for the caretaker, so there was a small issue we……

“This pet friendly property offered us a base camp with easy access to Davis Mountains State Park, chihuahuan desert research institute, Alpine, and Marfa. The property was well kept and the beds were comfortable. I haven’t seen a night sky that big since the Omani desert. Plenty of deer and javelinas around dusk every day. ”

“The views in this place are incredible, mountains for miles! You can see the sun rise and set from the same comfortable seat. The house is fresh, clean and nicely appointed with a well-stocked kitchen. The host was gracious and kept us informed at all times. And the location is perfect, a relatively short walk to shops and restaurants downtown, and an easy drive to McDonald Observatory. We have stayed many places in Fort Davis over the years and this place is our clear favorite. ”
