We always stay at The Marshall House. It is conveniently located on Broughton, right in the heart of the historic district. The staffers are friendly, helpful and experienced. “Exactly as described with a few pleasant surprises like wine and cheese cocktail hour and a delicious breakfast of sweet waffles with praline syrup, and savory sausage and potatoes out in the courtyard. Loved the Oglethorpe room plus Charles was very knowledgeable about the homes history - way better than google! Street parking (payment required 8am-5pm) was a bit tricky but staff was very helpful in guiding us! Savannah is definitely walkable from this home. Highly recommend!”

“Had a fantastic stay in this gorgeous historical home. The staff were warm and welcoming and breakfast in the beautiful parlor was a great way to start the day. We will return the next time we are in Savannah.”

“The corner room is noisy at night- there were many people gathering near the hotels till 1 or 2 am and you could hear them. There was an Irish bar across from the hotels which you would hear the music playing at night. There was coffee stain in the carpet of the room I stayed. The hotel has good hospitality and the bed was comfortable. ”

“I was a little bummed this time around. I’ve stayed here every time I’ve come to Savannah. First time though in a 2 bedroom. Sad the windows faced the alley. My room was next to the elevator. Obviously meant lots of noise throughout the day and night. Walls very thin. I must’ve been near a business because I could hear people’s names being called for their order in my bedroom. Also could hear the trash cans/workers in the alley as early as 4am. Also upon first entry a large water bug ran across……
