Historic cabin at the end of the road. Had all the basics we needed - ready for an update is all.

Furniture and color scheme were different from promo pictures. Better furniture (leather/vinyl), but darker colors. Beds were attractive but too high and a little uncomfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the home.

Quiet and serene

We liked Honors Nook for the quiet and comfortable settings. We were able to walk down the hill to the park and hiked, took the tram, and kayaked all within a few minutes. The floors slope a bit and there is no air conditioning. We used fans that were provided. We cooked all our meals there as dishes and cookware were plenty. We watched the deer and birds each morning.

A very enjoyable stay!

We stayed at Honor's Nook for 4 nights. Really enjoyed it! It feels very remote, but it's only a short walk to the village, market, coffee shop, ice cream shop, go carts, miniature golf, chair lift up the mountain, outfitter for horse back trail riding, etc. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen, nice furniture, smart TV, very comfortable beds, etc. The Wallowa Lake village is pretty small, so we found ourselves a 5-7 minute drive away in the great little town of Joseph, complete with nice shopping, art galleries, plenty of restaurant options, etc. I've been going to Wallowa Lake for literally 50 years since going as a child. It's a little slice of Montana in Oregon and, as far as I can tell, pretty much undiscovered to this day. Highly recommended!

Nightmare rental

After checking in left for dinner. Upon returning fed our dog in the room adjacent to kitchen and discovered exposed fiberglass insulation hanging from ceiling. The door separating this room from kitchen was open upon our check in. We were not comfortable staying and left next morning. We requested a refund and sent pictures of the ceiling but the next day were denied a refund. Stay here at your own risk.
