I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the Wyndham property in Jupiter, Florida. The condition of this hotel was far below acceptable standards, and certainly not what I expect from a Wyndham-branded property.
From the moment I arrived, the odor in the hallways was unbearable—a strong sewage or feces smell that lingered throughout my stay. The room itself was musty, poorly maintained, and severely outdated. There was visible wear and tear on the furniture, stains on the carpet, and an overall sense of neglect.
Most disturbing, I found a fingernail on the bathroom counter, which made it clear the room was not properly cleaned. The toilet barely flushed, and the bathroom fixtures were in disrepair. The conditions were unsanitary and unacceptable, and I did not feel comfortable or safe during my stay.
I want to be clear that LaKeisha at the front desk was exceptional — she was kind, upbeat, and professional throughout. Her attitude made an otherwise miserable experience slightly more bearable, and I appreciate her efforts.
However, the overall state of this property made for a completely unacceptable stay, and I am formally requesting a full refund for this experience. I did not receive the quality, cleanliness, or basic functioning accommodations that I paid for, and I hope Wyndham will stand by its standards and reputation by addressing this appropriately.
