Wonderful stay

This property was perfect for our family of 4 (including 2 teens). It was spacious and the beds were very comfortable- even the pull-out was pretty good. The kitchen was large and so was the bathroom and separate bedroom. The property is also amazing- best beach in Maui and beautiful pool near the beach. Excellent vacation- highly recommend it.

Beautiful place

My family of 4 was happy staying here. Two small kids on the pullout couch was perfect and the king bed quite comfortable. AC was great, nice balcony and easy walk to the beach. Only wish the kitchen was better stocked but we made do. Enjoyed our stay very much and would return.

Excellent Location!

Minus a few broken items in our room on arrival we found the facility, location, and beach to be near perfect! We visited several other beaches on Maui and found this was by far the best spot! Condo was clean, well maintained and very friendly staff. Loved the Castaway Cafe, the proximity to the pool and beach. Definitely would stay here again.

Great Condo

The listing did not I've this place justice. It was very spacious and clean. The lanai was huge and overlooked the nice gardens of the property. The resort was on the best beach in the area, with lots of sand, not rocky at all. The pool area was beautiful and had a restaurant on site that served up deliciousness daily. Overall, would stay here again if in Kaanapali!

Relaxing trip

While my son and I did spend most our time on the beach and at the pool, it was nice to come back to the room to cool off and refresh. The condo was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. This was our second time staying at Maui Kaanapali Villas and it won’t be our last. Staff was very accommodating and friendly as well.

Maui Kaanapali Villas is the best

This is one of the oldest resorts that has kept its Hawaiian charm. It is not oversized and crowded like most resorts. Has all the amenities I needed. My unit is newly renovated and spacious with a lanai. Tasteful, clean and comfortable.

Comfortable stay

The unit is nice and very well kept. It has a large lanai with an ocean view that also overlooks the front of the entrance to MKV - very peaceful. The only suggestion I might add is to add a few more kitchen tools such as cutting board, sharp knife, etc.

Location/Perfect

We have stayed at MKV around 7 times and would rate this as the best accommodation to date! We love the large Lanai and especially that it isn’t in direct sun! Still a peek a boo to the ocean. Everything was perfect, newly renovated, comfy bed, and great kitchen with nice utensils. Spacious for the 2 of us! Communication with hostess was very prompt and helpful! We will be back! Lynda

What a wonderful place

The resort itself is a gem. It is not an overcrowded overbuilt development. There is the old Hawaii intimate feel with that quintessential Hawaiian Hospitality! Location is fantastic. This is an older resort so they certainly got one of the best beaches and the landscaping is well established and well maintained. Our unit was brand new. Light, bright, modern and clean. The recent remodel was well done and having a lanai makes it one of the best units available!

As good as can be

We had a fantastic week in MKV A209! The unit was very clean, bright, and extremely well-stocked. Kitchen had every appliance (and evening basic seasonings and tupperware) we would ever need. Dual-zone air conditioning worked perfect. Was quiet and peaceful at night. The complex was on a spectacular stretch of beach and was impeccably landscaped. My toddler loved the swimming pool The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, especially considering the recent tragedy the affected them and the surrounding community. We are already looking forward to returning there again!

Everything was perfect!

This condo was beautiful! It accommodated our family of 4 perfectly. The main bedroom was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The pullout couch fit our two kids (8 & 12) wonderfully! I loved the openness of this condo with the sliding glass doors. It was bright and cheerful. Everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked with all the utensils we needed. It was an easy and short walk to the pool and beach. MKV is our favorite place to stay. It’s beyond charming and has the best beach, friendly staff, is kept clean and never feels crowded. We would definitely stay at this condo again! Our kids said it was the best vacation they’d ever had. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

Large unit, nice resort, overlooks parking lot

Pros: large unit, ample storage/closets, well-appointed kitchen, large terrace, good complimentary coffee in the morning, great beach access. Cons: terrace overlooks parking lot, noise from highway when doors are open, no WIFI for first several days, “welcome book” describes different WIFI login procedure from what you are supposed to do, photos and description of TV/remote do not match what is in u it. Limited information about resort amenities (such as gas BBQs for guest use, availability of showers after you check out if you have a day at the beach before your flight).

Four Star

We spent 4 nights in a different condo in the same complex before checking into A209. The accommodations were similar in size but we much preferred A209 due to the many extra provisions provided. Spices, Windex, coffee filters, sponge...lots of other assorted things in both the kitchen and bathroom that the previous unit did not have. We understand that it is up to the individual condo owner to provide (or not) and so we would like to thank the A209 owners for providing those many things that the owner of the previous place wouldn't. It shows concern for the renters. Such a pity that other owners couldn't really care less.

Several issues

All issues were with the facility, not the individual unit. We have stayed at MKV 8 times. Normally love it. Unfortunately this time there was a couple issues. The water was shut down with no warning. In the shower with not water. It was back on in a few minutes, but still sucked. The next issue was the fire alarm going off. i think at least 5 time our last day it was about 6:00 am and went off for at least 30 minutes.

Great Stay

We really enjoyed this villa. It was spacious and the pull out couch for my teenage daughters was perfect. The king size bed was absolutely huge and very comfortable, but the pillows were not comfortable. I wish we had bought pillows at Costco when we arrived. The villa is on the second floor close to the elevator and lobby, which was fun for a quick game of ping pong and perfect for the free morning coffee in the lobby. We spent most of our time at the smaller Coconut pool and hot tub, which we really enjoyed. There were 4 Tommy Bahama chairs in the closet and two umbrellas and some snorkels and sand toys. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything we needed to cook. Lanai was very peaceful in the evenings to sit and have a drink. The beach at this resort is amazing with the softest sand and most beautiful clear water. Sunsets are amazing here. Parking was easier at this resort than others I have been to, so that was a plus. Grocery store (Times Supermarket) was very close by and reasonably priced. We had a great visit. Maholo!

Pretty good place

Overall the Maui Ka'anapali Villas were good and we'd probably stay again. Our condo was less than a five min walk to the beach. The beach by near is probably one of the best on the Island. Also the complex's swimming pool is pretty nice too. The people running the Place are also chill and we found everything managed pretty efficiently. The down sides are, if you don't rent a car, it's a mile walk or Uber to get groceries. There is no filtered water on site and no ice machines. This really sucks cause the tap water on Maui is horrible. Think what heavy industry smells like and that's the water. Also, the dishwasher in our condo was terrible. When we complained, they sent someone over to fix it right away, it never really got the dishes clean. Also one of the kitchen cabinets was broken and there were stains on the carpet here and there. But overall, everything was clean, beds were comfy and air conditioning cranked lik a champ. Price on the unit was also good. So I'd stay again. Try to get the second floor if you do. It has best or biggest Lanais

Condo was very nice - but NOT as clean as expected

Upon arrival we were very happy with the condo itself - as described and per the on-line pictures. HOWEVER - we quickly noticed that the unit (while neat) had NOT been completely cleaned. I contacted the property manager. They asked for pictures and I provided the pictures of the worst areas within an hour or two: > several areas of sticky tile floors > unwashed glass wall in shower > very stained placemats-looked like they had NEVER been washed > what looked like a blood stain (per my wife, a nurse) on one of the walls I did NOT get a response from the property mgr. (MyPerfectStays) for about 3 days so I contacted them again asking for an update. They apologized for the delay and set up a day / time for a CORRECTIVE cleaning. Their 1st comment was "there may be a charge for the cleaning" - I had to point out that this was to CORRECT what should have already been done. This was for our 40th Anniversary, Each time we have a long stay (this time was for 30 days) we ask that the linens be REFRESHED. My request kept seeming to send them back to a script - "this is a rental NOT a Hotel" and there would be a.charge for an extra service. I pointed out several times that we are very experienced RENTERS and were not asking for "maid service" - just that the linens be refreshed. I noted for our long stays, THIS was the 1st time any owner or agent had ever suggest a charge. They agreed to a "complimentary" service due to their delay in responding to the cleaning.
