The Perfect Location
The best hotel in the best location - walking distance to everything. Walkable to dining, Tenmonkan the huge shopping district, sightseeing, Saigo Takamori the last samurai bronze statue, the Kagoshima Chuo-eki large train station, and everything else. Perfect location. Limited English speakers at the hotel, however, wasn’t a problem. Everyone is helpful and friendly - even the housekeeping staff are super pleasant.

We stayed in the older part of the property and it was good. The room and hotel were clean and staff friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

Location is excellent near main center of Kagoshima with places to eat etc on your doorstep. However, explanation about car parking at check in was confusing, Also better to make own arrangements for breakfast. But this is an APA hotel so overall cost-performance is good.

Good location, right in a busy shopping and dining area. Hotel is a little dated, non smoking room still smells a hint of cigarette. For the most part it's clean and comfortable.

Comfortable stay in central location
Spacious room, solid walls not the usual thin type, good sound proofing. Good size bathroom. Breakfast spread was also good. Only slight negative was that you had to leave the room key at reception every time you left the hotel, one time I went out early in the morning and the staff thought I had checked out (though I had gone out without any luggage with me). But eventually that's just a small hiccup.

The hotel is quite convenient. A bit strange is we need to leave the keys in the hotel every time we leave the hotel, seems a bit unsafe. The staff is very helpful.

Reasonable business hotel in Tenmonkan
I thought the apa was okay. Room was somewhat tired. The location is near some great restaurants. But it is also near the pachinko and all night party zone. We saw the after effect of that on Sunday morning checkout. Breakfast was reasonable but not standard business hotel variety. And it closed at 9am. There was only one elevator. We rarely had to wait but I could imagine it being really bad. There was nothing bad about the property; it’s just that most places I got to stay were a little nicer for less money.

Right in the heart of shopping area. Parking 1000 yen per night Room is comfortable They have double pane window, so no noise. Breadfast is good. Plenty of choices and good quality. But the restaurant is a bit small.

Really good value
This was a really good value hotel, very conveniently located for transport and eating out. It's on the edge of the red light district but it felt safe and I was happy to walk around late at night as a woman travelling alone. I would definitely stay again if I was in Kagoshima

Best choice at downtown
It's right at the main street of the downtown in Kagoshima. Only a few min walk after getting off the airport shuttle. Lots of shop and restaurants were around. The famous ice dessert restaurant is just the next door
