It is a nice and quiet hotel. However, the cleanliness, need to be improved. On the arrival, the toilet and floor were not properly clean. Also there was not enough toilet paper (of course it is ok that it wasn't new), however the two rolls were almost finishing... and during the next two days they didn't supply new toilet paper. (i used tissues that I had brought with me)... When I asked at the front desk, they seemed surprised... like if I were using it in an abnormal way or in excessive amount.

The hotel is CBD of Kagoshima city, and it is convenient to move around and nice restaurants around as well.

Amazing last minute booking after boarding the wrong ferry. Not as planned but couldn't ask for a more fun day or better accommodations. Truly fantastic value. Close to stopping and short drive to the ferry dock.

Brand new (refurbished?) hotel ideally located
Brand new or newly refurbished hotel very well located in Kagoshima. Overall great but having a single elevator for the whole building that is shared by customers and staff is simply not enough... And the aircon in our room was loud but it did not feel like it was blowing cool air. Other than that, it was a really great stay.

Hotel was recently refurbished and everything was new. Location was a plus point, across the road from Kankodori Station and within the shopping district. Good that it tied up with Tully's for breakfast!

Hotel is on main tenmonkan street v close to all amenities. However it is under renovation - air con and WiFi were bad Parking is 1000y per night right next to hotel (first left by mystays)

Location is great. The hotel is old, room and facilities are very simple. Attention: The bufe style breakfast that shown in photos at 'hotels.com' is no longer exists at this hotel.

Very convenient for shopping and restaurants. Public transportation stop almost right in front of the building. Front staff are friendly and very helpful. Nice and clean room. I would recommend this place for anyone else.

This hotel has great location in which Tenmonkan Tram station is nearby, Shopping street is right across. Lots of great boutique restaurants surrounding the hotel. It took me 23 min to walk from Kagoshima Chuo JR Station, while Taxi took 3min. If you have a group of 2-3 person & luggage, forget about Tram, Bus or walking, just go for taxi as it is cheaper. Breakfast is adequate with mixes of Japanese & western. Hotel of great value!

Location is very convienient - close to the Tenkonkan arcade, airport bus stop and street car station. Considering it is in the middle of the active area, the hotel is quiet. It is clean and well taken care of. There are no frills but great place to stay for the money.

Rebranded hotel smack in the center of Tenmonkan
Rebranded hotel in the center if Tenmonkan (which is the shopping district for Kagoshima city). The hotel is close to the ferry terminal which goes to Yakushima. Access is good but be prepared to move your luggage by hand. There is no car access in front of the hotel. In fact the front is a bit hard to find as it only occupies about 10 feet of the busy sidewalk. Rooms are business class and a bit dated. The rebranding is new but the furnishings are definitely not. Still, it's clean and reasonably comfortable for the price.

Great hotel in a central location
I stayed here with my family in the large room with a double and a bunk bed. There was plenty of space. It was warm and cozy and there was plenty of hot water. The location was excellent. Walking distance from everywhere or tram stops and airport bus just outside.

I was a little skeptical about the hotel, just based on the price, but it was a great place with top notch staff that were very helpful. Booked a room with a big bed and a bunk bed for the kids. Slept two adults and two kids (5 and 9) very comfortably. Great location. Didn't try the breakfast. Hotel staff recommended a local restaurant for dinner and even called to make reservations. This place is awesome. I highly recommend it.

We stayed here overnight on our way to Yakushima. Perfect location right opposite the airport bus drop-off. Only downside was that the room smelt heavily of smoke, and even left its smell on our clothes the next day.

Great hotel, more valuable than the cost.
This hotel was great! I stayed here with my family and the location was very easy to find. The staff were so kind. Even though there could be language barrier, you can get what you want. The room was clean with a good view. There are lots of restaurants and shops right next to the hotel. The hotel is exactly located in the centre of Kagoshima. Just one thing, the lift is quite small. I will definitely stay here again if I get a chance to visit Kagoshima again.

Convenient location in Tenmonkan
Convenient location in central Tenmonkan. Close to lots of shopping. From the shinkansen station, this hotel is about a 20-30 minute walk, but there are frequent connections by bus and street car. If you are staying in Kagoshima for a few days for sightseeing, then staying in Tenmonkan is highly recommended as there are tons of small shops at street level. The hotel is "business" class which means small rooms, but clean and efficient.

Beautiful hotel, The hotel staff were very professional, warm and caring. I am grateful for their hospitality. There is a free drink machine in the lobby. We got a free upgrade to a bigger room. The hotel is conveniently located near Tenmonkan, where there are many stores, restaurants and modes of transportation. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks Chisun Inn. Lot of love from a New Yorker.

Hotel close to shopping area and visitng sites
The room size is big enough to accommodate 3 persons. The room has an air cleaner and the wondow can be opend to allow fresh air coming in. Ice-making machine and drink vending machine is just at the comunal area on some floors. Shopping areas and supermarkets, many dining-out spots and some sight-seeing points are just nearby. The stay in this Hotel is comfortable and an excellent experience in Kyushu and therefore its stay is highly recomended to others.
