Excellent location.

Our stay in this condo was fantastic. The location and views were excellent. We were able to see whales, dolphins manatee's and beautiful sunsets from our balcony. Looking forward to staying at this condo again as we loved it.

Best place to watch surfers!

Had a great stay, though there was an issue they made it right.The place had an amazing location with a small convenience store across the street, poke and tacos nearby, and some of the best surfing and sunset views you can find! One note is that only the master bedroom and living room have in-wall A/C, the rest have ceiling fans but if you sleep hot you may want the master.All was great, would stay here again

Nice property

We enjoyed our stay at this property which was just like advertised. We especially like that it was right on the ocean, slept every night with windows open falling asleep to the peaceful sound of ocean waves and relaxing comfort of the ocean breeze

Beautiful spot, couldn’t be closer to the ocean, amazing sunsets.

Clean condo and responsive managers. Amazing view, and right over a beach and great tide pools. Totally agree with the request to do dishes and take out garbage daily to avoid bugs but felt ripped off that the management company didn’t supply enough garbage bags or dishwasher pods for the whole stay and we had to buy a full box of each to accommodate the last 4 nights.

Nice place for family vacation

The rental company was easy to deal with and even allowed us to arrange late check out. The unit faced the ocean with views of surfers & sunsets every day.

Wonderful Stay

This was a perfect fit for our family. The kids loved playing in the tidal pools just in front of our building. Parking was great. Beautiful view and enjoyed waking up each day to watch the surfers. Very clean.

Nice place, incredible view

Clean and comfortable. Ocean view is superb. A few small misses- kitchen is not very well equipped, disposer is broken. Overall we’d come back in a heartbeat.

AMAZING VIEW!

The condo is super clean, very nice, and has the most amazing views. Beds were comfortable and kitchen has most everything you could need. Watching the surfers every morning while eating breakfast was awesome too. We also loved that one of the bedrooms had twin beds for our kids. Great location as well, not far from the airport or any shopping needing done. Would stay here 100 times over!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment was comfortable, conveniently located and beautiful. The kitchen was fun to cook in and the living room and lanai were great for watching the ocean, whales and surfers. The master bed and bath were great, also facing the ocean. The two other bedrooms faced the road, but the noise level wasn't too bad.

Perfect for Families

We were three adults and a 5-year-old and stayed in this unit for six nights. It was clean, well-equipped and perfect for the little one. She really enjoyed the pool, the small beach and the little tide pools. But you must be VERY careful! The waves and tide can come up. And you definitely want rubber soled beach shoes to walk on the rocks. Also, I don’t believe the TV has cable or satellite (or I couldn’t get it going) but it is a smart TV so your subscriptions will work. I asked the property manager about that by text but got no reply. Not a huge problem though. I also used an HDMI connection to stream my satellite service from home to watch on the big screen. You might want to do the same.

Beautiful unit, great location

This is a great unit but you do have to put up with a lot of noise from the public beach next door (surfers talking at 6am below the window), drunk teenagers screaming occasionally at midnight in the park, and lots of traffic noise. The ocean side master bedroom does not hear any of this however. Also it could really use some more basic dishes, like a few plastic or acrylic dishes and wine glasses (there was only one wine glass), and the towels need a refresh. We also only had 3 really worn beach towels for 6 people. This unit is also the farthest from the elevator so something to consider since we had a wheelchair family member. Other than that, it's a great location and has nice updates inside.

Great ocean view/noisy on street side of condo

Our ocean view & small beach was great! We enjoyed watching surfers.Loved the ocean breeze & sunset was awesome. Liked watching the tide pools which had some turtles, yellow fish & lots of crabs running about. A turtle visited our beach for a short rest & dolphins could be seen from balcony. Unfortunately the noise on the street side made it hard to sleep. Talking at all hours & traffic noise. Would be nice to have quiet zone as people on street don't realize how loud they are. The condo was very clean & comfortable beds.

Family reunion

The property was updated, clean, comfortable and in a fantastic location right on the water. There is a small clean beach area available below the unit to sit, sunbathe & watch waves come in. We enjoyed coffee while watching beautiful sunrises and early morning surfers. Parking was convenient too for our rental vehicle. It took about 30 min to and from the KOA airport. The kitchen was beautiful and we cooked in for several meals. Right down the street there was surfing lessons, lots of shopping and restaurants. We went out to the northern island area for hiking, zip line and horseback riding. The harbor is closer for boating excursions. Overall we had an epic vacation!

Breathtaking View from Lanai

Everyday we set on the lanai and watched the waves, surfers, and just enjoyed the beauty of God's creation. This property was perfect for us. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with supplies needed for our trip, soap, trash bags, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent pods, pots, pans, baggies, basic seasonings salt, pepper, bath towels, pool towels. We made one service call for batteries for the remote (we requested the wrong size) and replacement of a soiled towel. Management responded promptly. Neighbors were nice. Front desk was scarce. I would stay here again.

Spectacular sunset and ocean views right from the lanai!

We had a wonderful stay at this Bali Kai property. We were a party of six adults and there was plenty of room. The place was clean and well-appointed with towels and basic necessities. They even provided beach chairs and an umbrella, which came in very handy! It was also great to have a washer/dryer so we were able to pack fewer clothes. We loved watching the surfers every morning from the lanai, and the sunsets were absolutely spectacular! We used the condo BBQ a couple of times to enjoy steak dinners with crashing waves as our backdrop. Truly breathtaking. One of the three bedrooms did not have A/C, but the weather wasn't too hot in January, so it was just fine. This may be a consideration in the warmer months. The property managers were very responsive to all our questions. Check-in was super easy which was great because we arrived after midnight due to flight delays. I highly recommend this place!
