"We stayed here for one night, beautiful little place. Desk staff was very friendly allowing us to check in early, easy parking right in front of the cabin. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Complimentary tea and coffee in the room. Staff at the desk helped us find an “off the beaten path” glow worm dell which was so kind of them. Few minutes walk to the beach! "

"The firehouse smartly used firefighting equipment to decorate the property and apartments inside. Laundry is available to all who stay there. Walked one block to several fine dining options. Totally recommend this property to anyone traveling to/through Hokitika."

Enjoyed the 195O’s retro furnishings, old records & player. Kitchen had a great selection of condiments, Enjoyed starting our day sitting outside in the sun with a plunger coffee & watching the Weka.
