"Everything was as promised! Clean, quiet, close to everything, Mercato shops were fabulous and dining experience at Trattoria Stella deserved Michelin stars. Owner was extremely responsive. Took a minute to figure out streaming TV and no local channels could be found but we are a little technology challenged. We loved the space!!!"

"Took my son, his friends, and their dads up for a four wheeler trip. The house was great and had plenty of room for all of us. The hot tub was nice too after a long day of riding. I highly recommend this place for anyone just looking to get away or if you like to ride ATVs/ORVs and/or snowmobiles. Trail access is just a couple of minutes from the property and they lead to pretty much anywhere you want to go in Northern Michigan."

"The whole family enjoyed Carrie’s amazing house! We were a big group (10 people) but never felt cramped. The game room was a hit with the younger people in the group, but we all appreciated the 4 full bathrooms since we had everyone getting ready at the same time for our nephew’s wedding. We actually talked about trying to book again for sometime this summer! Great location, comfortable, fully-appointed house! Thank you, Carrie!"

"Selfishly I don't want to give a good review so it is available for us whenever we want it. Two hours after we got there a huge storm came through and knocked the power out. They were very responsive and kept us up to date when the power was going to be back on. We were very appreciative of that."

"Had a great time on Spider Lake at this large and very clean property. The hill down to the lake (or rather up hill to the house) was a bit challenging for some but was worth the climb every time! The host provided wood for fires on his patio firepit and down by the beach. He also provided ideas for things to do around the area and he was spot on! The local restaurant he recommended was great and the pontoon rentals and river tubing rentals were very accommodating. The house offers many things...

"We really enjoyed our stay. It was in a great location and in a quiet area. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had all the essentials for preparing our meals when we didn't go to Gaylord for supper. It was a nice comfortable place to relax at after we spent the day cross country skiing and hiking. Would definitely stay here again."

We had high hopes for better weather, but it's Michigan- so you never know what you're going to get! The place is very clean and Barn is a delight to communicate with. It is a little rustic, but it has a nice cabin charm to it. Nothing to complain about other than the rain!"

"This house was perfect for our annual family girls trip. Great location to Downtown Traverse City and all the winery's up the Leelanau Peninsula. The views were amazing! everything was just as pictured! The owners have definitely put a lot of work into this house. They were very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions we had."

"Needed a place to stay for the Iceman Cometh MTB race. This house is close enough to walk to restaurants and worked out well for our needs."

"Property was gorgeous. Loved the views of the river while drinking my coffee on the deck or hanging out in the hot tub. Close to downtown traverse but also quiet and very private. Kitchen was well stocked. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Only complaints would be that the property was a little dusty and there was a lot of dog hair on the futon and blankets. Also, air did not work well when it got very humid one day. This was minor though. Would definitely stay here again"
