"Beautiful view. Wonderful beach! Lots of turtles as described. Lovely grounds out front along the beach. Lots of beach toys and towels, etc. The kitchen was nice. Parking was a nightmare but that’s not on the cottage manager. There was construction. Redo of pipes under parking area. I do think the description wasn’t totally forthright. It is a cottage cut into 4 units. When we arrived, We had to contact cottage manager to find out which cottage, turns out there were 3 cottages and that was when we were told we were in an upper unit, up stairs. This was not mentioned in the description. Neither was the fact that the cottage was 4 units. I did indicate that we were older people. Dragging luggage up two sets of stairs was difficult after having to drag luggage across the front lawn due to the construction. Stairs were in need of some repair. Lots of walkways were blocked or unusable. WiFi was spotty. Some of the windows along dining table area are in need of repair. Beautiful area!"

"We understood when booking that this unit that construction was extensive, and the room did not have an ocean view. That expectation was clear in the listing and email. However, the photos were misleading. The room featured large, expansive curtains that reasonably suggested there would at least be some type of exterior view. Instead, the “view” was a brick wall directly outside the window. That was disappointing and felt deceptive in how the room was presented online.The room was extremely hot and humid. With a 4:00 p.m. check-in, the room temperature should have at least been comfortable. Communication with property management was frustrating. We were repeatedly reminded that “other guests were fine with the accommodations,” which was not helpful or reassuring. We chose not to stay, and were in the room for less than five minutes. Initially, no refund was offered despite the conditions and concerns. The cleaning fee was eventually refunded only after reminding the property manager that cleaning services would not be necessary since we never used the room.Most disappointing was the overall lack of hospitality and care demonstrated throughout the interaction. For a property in Hawai‘i, we expected at least some sense of “Aloha spirit.” Warmth, understanding, and customer care were lacking.The experience fell well short of expectations due to misleading presentation, parking limitations, poor room conditions upon arrival, and dismissive communication from management."

"We loved staying at Janet's beautiful condo. The unit had a beautiful balcony with an ocean view, we were 2nd story and the beach was right there below. The unit was well-equipped, perhaps my most favorite thing of all. So many times you have to buy every little household item you need when you stay at a similar property arrangement. But the host, Janet, kindly shared with us the property's scuba gear, boogie boards, beach chairs, ample towels and bedding, she even provided toiletries to use, which we didn't need any. She also provided laundry soap, we had brought some but did use a couple of her supplies. It was so stocked and kind of her to treat the guest so well. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the place upon arriving was 4 out of 5 stars. The place needed a tiny bit more dusting, especially the bathroom exhaust fan. The kitchen and bathroom were pretty clean and the two beds provided were clean and comfortable. The unit was definitely worth the money! The parking lot refurbishment going on at the time was slightly bothersome but not majorly aggravating at all. Only slightly bothersome as it made parking around the building difficult. But Janet was very communicative about this and helped us to know the parking rules and complex rules. It was the best stay ever and we will hopefully book with Janet again! "

Spacious one bedroom condo on a white sandy beach!

"The construction was the first thing we saw and it was a bit concerning. But the condo was cute and THE VIEW from the balcony. The condo is outdated a bit. The bathroom is small. The appliances probably need replaced. BUT the bed was comfy. No air conditioning but lots of fans and cross breeze. The condo is furnished with lots of stuff other owners didn’t think about . And there are lots of hooks. I love having hooks to hang stuff on. Proximity - the condo is on the way up to North Shore and close to several things to do, including our favorite coffee shop. Again- THE VIEW from the balcony, the beach walk and the pool were lovely!! The construction workers were polite and tried to work as quietly as they could. Pat communicated well check in instructions, and checked on us when we arrived - apologized for the construction. I know we were provided a reduced rate as well. All and all such a great stat and then we were off to Waikīkī. Hope to come back to Oahu again. Mahalo "

"10/10 vacation location! We wanted to be right on the beach with snorkeling and this property delivers that and much more. Many opportunities to see turtles with a peaceful, private beach. The property is exceptionally clean with everything you need. Close to Laie and groceries. Perfect vacation, thank you! Host is also wonderful and communicative."
