Lovely 2-bedroom in Kanazawa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the "art hotel". The decorations are nice, the kitchen was fully equipped, and everything was very clean. It's in a great location, right near Higashi Chaya. There are only two things to watch out for: - The stairs are very steep and can be difficult to climb with a suitcase. - There aren't a lot of places nearby that are open at night. But after our first night, we knew to plan ahead and this wasn't a huge deal. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended.

This little townhouse is in a very quiet neighbourhood, close to the river. There is a 7 11 within 15 minutes walk and dining options nearby. While we enjoyed our stay, i would caution that it is probably not suitable for older people, or small children. The sleeping quarters are up a 60 degree staircase (fortunately with a handrail) which was hard work, even for a middle-aged gym go-er. If you had to visit the toilet at night, the sensor light does come on as you descend the stairs. We were glad to have had the experience.
