A disappointment!!! It took a lot to check in, they did not understand English, they gave us a small room and one of the beds was an extended chair. We rented another room and they charged us a lot and we could not pay with a card. Not recommended at all!

in Ordnung für Kurzaufenthalt

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Bus/Bahnhof. Die Innenstadt ist gut zu Fuß in ca 10-15 Minuten erreichbar. Der Zustand des Hotels ist teilweise renovierungsbedürftig (abgeschlagene Zimmerkanten, fleckige Teppiche, vergilbte Gardinen, lose Gardinenstangen). Das Bad verfügt über eine Badewanne und ist ausreichend groß. Leider fehlen Annehmlichkeiten wie Wasserkocher bzw. Tee/Kaffee/Wasser oder Nachttischlampe. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung und wenig ausgefallen. Die Rezeption war reichlich bemüht, aber abgesehen von Englischkenntnissen keine weiteren Sprachkenntnisse vorhanden (entgegen der Aussage der Homepage). Es gibt für über 40 Zimmer lediglich 5 Parkplätze, die 10€ pro Nacht kosten. Grenzwertiges Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

I liked the full bathtub in the bathroom,which gave me the opportunity to relax, front desk representatives were very helpfull... I was very satisfied and consider it excellent value for the price spent... Also, good curtains in the room, blocking the daylight well, so I could sleep late (arrived very late at 4. AM...)...

Convenient and cheap but the staff could not care

Second time at this property. No cleaning, or tidying up the room (again). Relatively poor breakfast. Nice wifi, though. A very good rate indeed, but you do get what you pay for.

Not bad, but not good either

This is a very average hotel, a little bit old/worn out, but good enough to sleep for a day, or two, if the rate is good (and I got a very good one via hotels.com :). It's really very no-frills accommodation, located in the center of KV (the BEST location for people coming into the town with a car), with some limited on-site parking and a good Wi Fi coverage. Some staff members are nice, but some simply don't care, or just ignore you and don't provide a requested service at all. Anyway, if you are on business in this pricey spa destination and want to find a clean room, a somewhat acceptable breakfast, in the center of the town - use this hotel, but only if you find a very good rate.

Great hotel at good price opposite the bus station

Great hotel at good price opposite the bus station. The location was superb, handy to reach. Hotel was very nice with comfortable bed. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty options. The receptionist was helpful and spoke not only Russian as I read in some other reviews. He spoke Czech and also English. I would stay there again.

Das Frühstück war sehr mangelhaft. Es Könnte normalen kaffee Geben. Löslicher Kaffee ist nichts. Wir waren letztes Jahr auch im August bei ihnen, da gab es noch besseren Kaffee.

Zimmer soweit ok, Lage zentrumsnah. Allerdings ziemlich laut (Straße, lautes Türenknallen, lautes Trampeln). Leider wurden die Betten nicht gemacht und Handtücher, die auf den Boden gelegt wurden nicht ausgetauscht, sondern über die Wanne gehängt. Frühstück mittelmäßig (löslicher Kaffee zum selbst anrühren).

Great location! Only breakfast was not always refilled. Cornor room has lots of space but internet doesn't seem to work well, we had to come out on the corridor where we could get signal.

Hotellet har ett perfekt läge precis utanför stadskärnan. Det tar 3 minuter att promenera. Fri parkering direkt utanför hotellet. Frukosten var i magraste laget.Staden Karlovy Vary är värd ett besök

I stayed at Hotel Adria for just one night and the experience was far above satisfactory. I arrived during the Sunday evening when all streets were completely empty! But the receptionist was far too kind to guide us to different restaurants at that hour and to share various city information all around. Walking distance from all the attractions. The room was spacious and the wifi worked splendid. The only problem was the water pressure but it wasn't all that troublesome. Also beware if you have a car - hotel parking lot is only about 5 spaces. We were lucky enough to take the last one when arrived.
