「Oh wow! What a surprise! Truthfully, I was not expecting much, but the price was right and for one night, that was pretty much my deciding factor, for a downtown location. I was actually anticipating a kind of run-down, old hotel in a backwater WV town. It was beautiful. My room was really nice, and it. was. spotless. Tons of free parking on-site. 「It was a quick overnight and back on the road for us on a cross country road trip. Beautiful historical home with a cute neighborhood. We took a walk with our morning coffee and learned about some local history. The house was well maintained and clean. The beds were very comfortable 」

「Hot tub was out of order and the staff did not tell us upon check in. The hot tub was the reason we chose the hotel. Everything else was good. Did not utilize breakfast.」

「Issues with wifi so no internet available and they could not get key cards done properly. I had to be let in and pick up key cards the next day. The ice machine did not work. When I needed staff I had to search the lobby to find someone although staff was great once found.」

「Checking the sites of the Monongahela National Forest, we stayed for two nights and the stay was excellent, the room was updated, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good and the front desk were courteous and helpful. My Wife seriously said it was the best hotel stay ever, yes in Elkins of all places.」
