「I showed up and they were not expecting us- the property had changed hands and the owner did not have access to the hotels.com account. Then, they said we hadn't paid enough, that the rooms prices has increased, and instead of the two rooms we had booked and paid for, we would be given one.」

「Property had an “Exceptional” rating and itProperty looked run down, verging on dangerous. It was in a completely out of the way area; far from any businesses/shops/restaurants. 」

「Had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful hilly, mountain-side hotel. The setting was serene and refreshing, but what stood out most was the exceptional hospitality from every member of the staff warm, attentive, and always ready to help. The breakfast was another highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options that made every morning special. A perfect blend of comfort, scenery, and genuine care. Highly recommended. Please work on your parking though.」

「Don’t bother with this hotel. I had a paid booking but they refused to put me up, claiming that they didn’t have a booking for me from Expedia. Refused to budge and threatened me with police action, so I had to stay somewhere else. 」

「The homestay double booked my booking so I turned up and they had nowhere for me to stay. At 5pm I then had to try and find a room in Ella for the night, in peak season. Ended up staying in a dirty hotel as that was the only option left after 3 hours of searching, and got severely ill from the food there. My whole holiday was completely ruined thanks to Dimuthu homestay. Unbelievably unprofessional. DO NOT book here, it is not worth the risk.」
