Nagarjun Eco Homestay with a View of Kathmandu Valley

Nagarjun Eco Homestay is a peaceful home away from home with epic views of Kathmandu Valley. Visitors exploring Nepal will feel welcome in our quiet hillside getaway, free to explore the surrounding area at their leisure while also having the opportunity to visit local attractions.

Our home offers a private kitchen, dining area and a TV lounge on the first floor and with a rooftop that offers unique views of Kathmandu. Free WiFi is also available. Guests booking with us will be provided with the two bedrooms on the main floor with access to their own bathroom across the hall.

The neighborhood is in a very peaceful location with beautiful views of Monkey temple, Nagarjun forest and Kathmandu city. Our location is walking distance to several areas of Kathmandu without the impact of traffic and pollution found in the central area. We are close to Thamel (main tourist hub of Nepal), so there is easy access to restaurants and shopping. Balaju park is only a 10 minute walking distance from the homestay. The public micro bus park is 5 minutes walking distance where taxis are also available. Local buses run regularly throughout the day. Parking space is available in front of the homestay.

Guests may choose to have organic meals cooked by their host, including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cooking classes can be provided free of cost! The owner Jenny also has a trekking and travel company that can provide information as well as trekking packages and other activities based on guest interests. Jenny has additional experience working for national and international non-profit organizations, and depending on guest skills and interests can help find placement for volunteering and internship opportunities.
