"Although there were a few big ants on the bed, overall I would give this place the highest rating. The host was very friendly, the airport pickup process went smoothly, and the host gave us a lot of help. The host even came to fix the water heater close to midnight. If I have the chance, I would definitely choose to stay here again. Highly recommended — but please don’t compete with me for the booking !"

Gaushala

The Gaushala area in Kathmandu centers around the sacred Pashupatinath Temple complex, Nepal's holiest Hindu site. Golden pagoda roofs rise above intricate wood carvings while funeral pyres burn along the Bagmati River. Saffron-robed sadhus meditate among smaller shrines as pilgrims perform traditional rituals. This deeply authentic religious area maintains centuries-old traditions with minimal tourism infrastructure. "Very helpful and friendly staffs. Front reception Ashok, Anish, Nauton, Nisha and other housekeepers staffs, kitchen staff all of them were very helpful and polite while we stayed there for 11 days. It located in very quiet place which gives peace vibe. Sometime the AC doesn’t work makes the room really hot. It’s better for management to think about updating advance AC or new AC before guests complain about it. We had to changed the room couples times because of AC didn’t worked properly."
