“George and his family were very welcoming and helpful! George gave us home made cookies, a fruit plate and bottle of raki when we arrived to the hotel, which was very kind. It was easy to be in touch with them, they answered to messages quickly and helped us. The room was clean and the area around the hotel was beautiful. Would definitely come back.”

“The booking was cancelled (for technical problems) on Saturday (for Sunday) by mail. I am waiting for refund ! Very inconvenient and otherwise we stayed here before and was perfect”

Mais que dire, qui n’a déjà été dit ! Tout est parfait. La vue reposante et ces superbes couchers de soleil. L’accueil parfait d’Andreas qui parle français 😀 le petit plus !! “A great stopover location for our first night in Crete. We arrived too late to collect our hire car so wanted a hotel near the airport to make it easy to return the next morning. Booked a double room and was given a two bedroom apartment with lounge, kitchenette and patio overlooking an excellent pool. Communication from the owner in advance of arrival was excellent. Service on arrival was first class. Be aware there is no catering or bar onsite, but there is a Taverna about 10 minutes walk……

“After a disapointing check in service everything was great. All the staff were excellent Mariana produced an excellent breakfast for us and Abi was very helpful when we had some minor issues in the room. The room was kept very clean with fresh towels provided by the lovely friendly cleaning staff. All the staff made our pet dog Gizmo very welcome too. Will highly recommend the Alianthos suites for a peaceful relaxing holiday in a beautiful area of Crete. We will definately return.”

“The resort feels luxurious esp the bar area and the pool. Food is great. However, it is a bit remote and there’s nothing much around it. I guess it’s perfect for those who just want to enjoy the resort and not go anywhere. ”

“Firstly the location .. right on the Venetian harbour.. close to everything! The room was beautiful- spacious and well furnished. Breakfast was very good ..a tick list with plenty of options and all felt fresh. The staff were excellent .. couldn’t do enough for you and so friendly! Two minor things for balance .. it was a little noisy in the evenings .. some of the bars were playing music until after midnight and the sound proofing was not the best. Secondly, to not offer top up of……

“Das Hotel ist super, das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Mit dem Bus ist die Innenstadt in Kürze zu erreichen. In wenigen Minuten ist fußläufig sowohl ein Bäcker, ein Gyros-Laden sowie mehrere Kioskläden und Tavernen erreichbar. Bin schon das zweite Mal hier und komme auch gerne das nächste Mal wieder.”

“Lovely big space with a great terrace. Hot water is solar but has a heater if needed. Kitchen is quite well equipped although youre so close to so much good food, you won't need it. Washing machine is a total bonus. Parking isnt allowed directly outside but we had no problem parking in the next street after dropping off bags. Call the owner on arrival and you'll be inside 5 minutes later. We would absolutely stay again. ”
