“I came up with my teenage son and some of his far-flung friends who usually only meet on zoom and wanted to have a getaway together. They cooked, hiked and played board games. Everyone liked the house. It looked even nicer than the pictures. Very roomy. Lovely rural area to explore. Everything we could want for our stay except the wifi could be better. “Location was good, nice view, but I didn’t realize highway 20 was just 40 yards below the deck, thus somewhat noisy outside. The host was wonderful, very responsive and accommodating, couldn’t ask for more. There was some dirt on blinds and window sills, but not bad. The neighborhood was ok, a few abandoned homes down the road, but nice homes surrounding the house. Overall a good stay, we went to Blue Lakes lodge to swim the next day, nice… ”
