“I think I may have stayed in a different hotel to the one advertised on Hotels.com and other websites. Certainly my single room looked nothing like the photographs, it was very small, in need of upgrading (the sockets were coming off the wall), with a thinly mattressed bed squeezed at one end, with a noisy fridge (with a glass door and light on permanently. The wifi didn't work, the bedside lamp didn't work, the light on the wall in the bathroom didn't work, and the shower was similar to……

“The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms well presented and clean. Excellent choice of breakfast menu, served well presented and some different options to chose from. The only downside to this property is the parking as it does not have its own spaces and parking in Brighton is not easy due to all the new road changes taking place. The hotel is situated on a quiet square with a public garden. Just a short walk to the beach and town amenities.”

“We stayed in room on the top floor. Room was cosy, comfortable, clean and quiet. Welcomed by host on arrival and had lovely breakfast in the morning. Perfect location for a short walk into town.”

“I booked a room with seaview with the hope I can enjoy seaview in my hotel room. But then the room was facing other buildings. After some effort, I realised there was two inches seaview at the corner of the window. You need to make an effort in order to notice it! I think this is cheating. It’s a joke. ”

“Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with our stay and experience. 1. Communication: Booked through Hotels.com but messages were sent via Expedia, which did not upload, meaning we did not get the accommodation access code, which we had to chase. Unable to sent messages on Guesty app. 2. Sofabed very uncomfortable. Needs a bed topper. Bed frame did not open fully, I think due to damaged/deformed frame. 3. Main bed frame has wooden features at the end, which means you can hurt your shin or toe……

“Nicely decorated and very clean, cramped and cold though. In a fairly grubby part of town. Very overlooked by other buildings into room. Staff assistance was prompt but there is no in person presence. Quiet at night and good black out blinds. ”

“The hotel is well-equipped, refined and comfortable. Convenient location, near the sea. We live in Room 5, with sea view and the environment is quiet. But be careful, you have to take the stairs.”
