Breakfast is buffet style, but good. Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, canned tomatoes, baked beans; also croissants, toast, cereals, yogurt, some fresh fruit. Staff were courteous and helpful. Room was clean. The hotel is in a nice setting, but while updated in some areas, appears a “little tired.” Good onsite parking! Convenient walking distances to shops in Kendall town centre.

The staff were excellent and the breakfast was okay but the bathroom and bedroom were in need of attention (eg mould in the bathroom, a chunk out of a pillar and a window that was impossible to keep open without clambering onto the windowsill....!). But Kendall is a very convenient place to stay for trains and buses.

It was a very tired hotel. Needs a birthday big time. Bed was uncomfortable and pillows were too soft. There was yucky smell as you walked in which wasn’t very welcoming. Bathroom size was good and shower was also good. It was too hot and we worked out that was probably because of the indoor pool connected to the hotel. We had the window open all night and also a fan on and it was still too hot. Not worth what we paid.

We booked the hotel for its location close to the centre. Generally this area is a bit run down. The room was dusty, the toilet left dirty. We had to remove 3 spiders from the room. On arrival after a long trip, our room wasn’t ready but we were encouraged to head to the bar. After serving us, the barman the started hoovering!
