We slept in and missed breakfast and the person in charge was so kind to make us some coffee anyways! ;). We also were welcomed at any time, which was kind since we were coming in around midnight after changing time zones!

The continental breakfast barely registers as a breakfast, cereal in dispensers I thought I think there might’ve been some milk sitting around there?? A toaster and maybe bagels or bread?? no protein, not even the powdered eggs which suck everywhere by the way But I guess that’s what you can expect for Kenmare North Dakota

Checked in to a prepaid room - to find out we had booked a pet room in error. When we told them we wanted to switch to a non-pet room due to pet allergies, we were told they would switch us for a $25 fee because "the pet rooms are discounted by $25 on the website and then they collect a $25 pet fee". So we didn't pay enough for a non-pet room. The entire hotel was virtually empty -not a single other person staying there. But they wouldn't move us without a charge.... ridiculous. The room was tired, the heater was extremely loud and there is a lot of noise from the highway throughout the night with the semis driving by. The parking lot was covered in ice including the entrance into the side of the building nearest our room. No salt or sand on the ice and after sliding around on it we walked the long way around to the front entrance to avoid falling on the icy side entrance walkway. I would not recommend this hotel. Apparently there is another hotel a minute or two away from this one in Kenmare. We didn't see it. Very unfortunate we prepaid for the room, otherwise we would have gone elsewhere.

Property has had change in ownership. Used to be a flagship for quality and welcoming atmosphere. Only one staff on site now and he is spread too thin to run the entire Inn (great guy). Property quality is still here but will grind down and down without additional staff for cleaning and service. Ill still stay here but know i will have to go get clean towels and have to requst room servicing or it wont be done.

If your traveling with heavy stuffs no elevator just a stairs. Book a head if you like to get first floor room. Not bad for a night stay along the way.
