「All the caravans looked amazing until we found 51 it’s very old and should not be on such a lovely site bar staff in club house were very nice but the van was not it’s severely worn out carpet worn chipped wood everywhere broken fridge door it was supplied with one plate one knife tv didn’t work until we went to shop to buy new batteries can’t park car close to van and the beds were shocking so not much sleep had but worst of all no hot water we didn’t stay both nights decided we would go home...

「Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. 「We had a fantastic time at this cottage and in Wingham. The host made us feel very welcome and was super helpful when we arrived. The cottage is beautiful, and it was a treat to stay in a place like this. Margate is about 30 30-minute drive from Wingham, but there's a seaside closer than that. Canterbury is only 10-15 minutes away, so it was a perfect location for exploring different parts of the local area. We hope we can return next year. 」
