    Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet

    Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

    Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. . Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. This ground floor apartment, close to the centre of Keswick, has been beautifully presented and furnished to provide every comfort. Situated on the fringe of the town, this apartment is in a complex known as The Howrah’s Court. The pretty market town of Keswick, with its shops, restaurants, museums and boating trips on Derwentwater, and with views of the surrounding mountains and fells, really is the perfect place for those who enjoy the great outdoors. There are many walking and cycling trails within the Lake District National Park and numerous places of interest, including Beatrix Potter’s house, Hill Top, Dove Cottage, Go Ape at Grizedale Forest and the Lakeland Motor Museum. Shop, pub and restaurant 150 yards.

Great stay

Good location and clean flat. Spacious light and airy living room. We’ll worth the money. One small issue - there a job and oven but there are no pans.

Well equipped, comfortable apartment. Unusually for the Lake District, the weather was warm and we found the bedrooms hot at night. Being a ground floor flat we could not leave the windows open. However we appreciate that this is unusual and not the norm. We enjoyed playing the games that were in the cupboard.

The accommodation was clean, warm, fully equipped and ideally placed.

The accommodation was clean, warm, fully equipped and ideally placed. The location being such that we were not troubled by noise or other disturbance but still close to most amenities with a well stocked supermarket on the doorstep. Parking was just outside the front door and the main bus stands just across the supermarket car park. Keswick itself has everything we needed. Restaurant pre-booking is recommended for Friday and Saturday nights. The only minor gripe, and it is minor, it was unclear what to do with re-cycling rubbish. There are no facilities nearby although the information folder incorrectly stated there were facilities at the supermarket. The local council’s website was not clear.
