This is a lovely cottage and extremely well equipped.

This is a lovely cottage and extremely well equipped.It is in the hamlet of Guardhouse which is a short distance from Threlkeld.Access is down a side road which some may find difficult in the dark but was fine in September.We found neighbours to be be helpful and informative.We had a most enjoyable week in lovely quiet surroundings and the cottage was warm and cosy in the evenings with a welcoming wood burning stove.Having used many Lakeland cottages over the years this is one of the best.It would seem isolated for some but it was ideal for us!
