「This hotel is great! friendly and helpful staff, clean and large room (the quality is particularly amazing given the low price), and it is walkable to the Ringling mueseum. The only thing I am not that satisfied is the strong smell of disinfectant in the room. Will definitely consider this place once I visit Sarasota again.」

「The staff were wonderful. Eddie was so helpful. The hotel itself was built in 1920’s. As a result the hotel has a lot of character but is in no way modern. You will have the benefit of a safe and clean place to sleep, bathe and store luggage. The location is beyond excellent and balances out the age of the hotel and sparse accommodations. 「Upon check-in I was upgraded to a first floor room with direct access to the beach. The room had been fully renovated following the devastating hurricanes of 2025. As such, the room looked fresh. We ate at Sloppy Joe's which is a hotel restaurant on premises and watched the sunset each day. Very enjoyable visit.」
