“Very kid and pet-friendly quiet location within a short drive to downtown Frederick with all its urban offerings but at the same time very quiet and close to state parks, lakes, falls and hiking. But the star attraction are the horses - one of the hosts offers riding classes and you can either take a beginner's loop on property or if you have some experience a beautiful ride along the banks of the Potomac down by Brunswick (she will drive the horses down there from the farm and meet you there).……

“Host was welcoming and helpful. Responded quickly to bringing salt for freezing/ice on the steps. Had minor issues with backyard not being fully fenced in or access to a porch light for cleaning up poop. Bath and toiletries are available and well labeled, however brands/scents aren't labeled. I'm allergic to lavender so I couldn't risk using any. ”

“We had a very nice stay here, kitchen and bathroom had all necessary amenities provided. Cozy cabin, a little chilly at night but blankets were provided as well so it was OK.”
