Amazing View!

We loved the view of the mountain (ski resort) from the hot tub every night! Skiing is close by (less than a mile drive to rent skis at Christy's and go to River Run at Keystone.) Several grocery stores are close by if you need some basics. Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. We had enough pots and pans to make a full Thanksgiving dinner. We really enjoyed having a garage to keep the car in. We would love to stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We could not be more happy with our stay through Summit County Mountain Retreats. We got a little bit of a scare when we arrived for check- in because our check-in instructions were missing from the lock box. When we went to the office, the lady explained that the owners of the property we were bioked at, had not checked out that day. She immediately went to work to find us an alternate property to stay in, and to make sure that we were taken care of. Within just a few minutes, we were on our way to our new property. We were checked on multiple times during the week to make sure that we were not having any issues with our stay, and to see if there was any way they could help. We were even asked to let them know if we found any issues with the property that needed to be addressed. For several years now, we have exclusively rented vacation rental properties like this,and were taken care of by Summit County Mountain Retreats better than any previous management company. We could not have been more pleased with a rental management company than this. Summit County Mountain Retreats!Thank you very much.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place was clean. liked being close to main road accross from keystone w/o being on main road. The master bedroom is really a loft so if someone wants to watch tv in living room you can't go to bed. the hot tub and gas fire pit are a bit crammed on the deck and their is no yard. note for summer there is fine, but not the best.

Reviewer Comments: The good: This house was very nice, I stayed there with my family for a week during spring break and we had plenty of space for the 6 of us. Amazing views from every window. Kitchen was well equipped to make meals and plenty of clean towels in the bathrooms.Location was great, walking distance to the ski school and lift, only a few minutes walk to Keystone free shuttle stop and to the Mexican restaurant down the street which was delicious.The not so good: The house was very dusty, we could see dust in many places, baseboards, window sills, window curtains, ceiling fan. The carpet in the garage level was full of crumbs at our arrival. The sliding doors seemed to be cleaned with dirty rugs, you could see all the marks in the morning ruining the amazing views. Also we could have used a couple of cozy blankets while watching tv, there was only one in the house. In general I would stay at this house again and would recommend to friends and family but the cleaning part needs to be addressed.

It’s located close to the bus stop that takes you to the gondola and there are plenty of food and basic grocery options within walking distance.The hot tub was definitely a bonus with this house and the check-in and check-out process was straightforward and easy. The house in general was in great condition and very clean.I’d highly recommend this place for keystone skiing!

Could not get 4 wheel drive up the driveway to use the garage and no one would fix it. Got stuck at the bottom of driveway one night because the roads to the condo were iced over our entire stay also and no one would fix them.Had to call a wrecker to move it.The fire pit and all furniture on the patio was iced in and could not use. Besides the ice problems it was a nice unit close to the. Resort.

Great Location & Amazing Views

Can’t beat the price if you book ahead of time. Plenty of space for 6-8 people, 2 minute drive to the resort. Kitchen stocked with everything you need if you bring your own groceries and can’t beat the hot tub after a day on the slopes!

Great location!

Great location and nice walk to River Run Village and fun at The Goat. Beautiful views from sun up to sun down. The hot tub, patio furniture and gas fire table make for an amazing outdoor hangout spot. The place seemed to be well cared for, and the general communication from management was excellent!

There were several disappointing issues that I'd like to share.

We understand things break but the number of items that needed to be addressed during our visit seems excessive & no accommodation for these inconveniences were offered. While service to address the items was mostly prompt-even loss of one day is significant during a 3-day rental. Prior to our arrival we were told the fireplace was out of order which was very disappointing. One of the MAIN reasons we chose this unit was the hot tub. The water was filthy & a bath towel was left in it. Obviously, it had not been checked prior to our arrival. We called & Carlos arrived within an hour to empty the hot tub, refill & treat the water. He did a great job. Unfortunately, the water takes a long time to warm up, so we were unable to use the hot tub 1 of our 3 nights. The code rec’d to the lock box for the key didn’t work. There was a humidifier that didn’t work – a new one was brought quickly. Wi-fi was intermittent making watching tv difficult. Tues night the dishwasher would not turn on. Wed morning, I called was told someone would come by that day. We left to ski. When we arrived back that evening it still did not work. I called & was told that maintenance was running behind & someone would be out “first thing in the morning”. They offered for someone to come over & wash the dishes. I declined because it seemed awkward to have a stranger doing dishes while I was cooking dinner. 10am Thurs morning no one had arrived. I called again. About an hour later someone came & was able to fix it. Fri morning, as suggested, we made sure dishes were in the dishwasher & it was running, the dirty towels were in the bathroom tubs & all trashcans emptied. At 10am we were loading the last suitcase in the car & the cleaning crew arrived. They had to back down the driveway so we could leave. At 10:15, I rec’d a call to remind me check out was at 10 & that the cleaning crew reported they could not get in the unit. I told her they were only delayed a couple of minutes. This call was very upsetting. We could have left the dishes on the table, towels wherever they lay & the trashcans full. We didn’t. Less than 10 min late leaving & I get a call complaining about the inconvenience to the cleaning crew. After everything that went wrong with the unit, it was hard to believe we were being called out for a few minute delay. The view is great, the unit is beautiful. But personally, I would not rent this unit again & have significant concerns about doing business w/SCMR.

Keystone review

The house is in a great location with easy access to Keystone resort and within walking distance to a couple local eating spots. The fireplace wasn’t working while we were there and you could not access the garage from outside which made parking in the garage much more difficult.

Loved this property!

We loved this property! Very spacious with plenty of sleeping room. The hot tub on the deck was amazing!! The only negative thing I would say is the one ply toilet paper and Kleenex (really hard on the skin). I will bring my own next time. Other than that, we loved this place!

Awesome, comfortable and convenient stay

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at this property and loved it! It is conveniently located only minutes from the Keystone resort and ski slopes. We enjoyed the hot tub on 2 of our 5 nights. It had a very cozy feeling and had plenty of key amenities. We will definitely have this place on our mind when we visit Keystone again in the future!
