Great location but BED BUGS!!!

We very much enjoyed our ski trip and staying here. Everything seemed clean and we had what we needed. The location was perfect for walking to Peru lift and the bus is right there. Unfortunately, we all came home with bed bug bites!

Great Ski Lodge!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the condo was very good for our group of 7 ppl. Everyone had a bed to sleep in, bathrooms were recently redone and the unit was cleaned well prior to our stay. I would come back to this unit again. The only items I would recommend fixing -- the track on the basement door seems to be very worn and broken, making the door hard to open/close. Also, the house gets very dry and the one humidifier we had did not function properly.

Great Location!

My family of 6 stayed here and there was more than enough room! We rented skis from a place in Silverthorne and were able to hang the skis in the garage and leave boots out there. We did not park in the garage because of this but it was very handy to be able to put winter gear on/off just inside the garage and then go into the garage to put boots on and grab skis and make the very short walk to the bus stop. We ski'd in and out of mountain house as the bus drops you off right at the lift. You can also take the bus to the main base/gondola but you have to walk through River Run Village and with kids, that is a long way to walk multiple times a day. We were able to eat all of our meals in our condo which saved our family hundreds of dollars! The condo itself is very nice but showing some wear (broken stair tread, worn couches, etc.) but we didn't mind since we were there to ski! The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. The in-unit laundry was great to be able to wash clothes and gear at the end of each day.and come home with almost all clean clothes. The hot tub was great too! I can't reiterate how convenient of a location it was. We even night ski'd both nights and we're able to take the trail back to mountain house. The base was closed but the trail was lit all the way to the bus stop and the bus stops there about every 10 min. It was great!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the price and based on the reviews, the place was about what we expected. You can clearly tell that this condo is a income property and has been abused by renters throughout the years. The hot tub was pretty gross, the filter hadn't been changed in forever! The boiler system was terrible and we lost hot water almost every day. Many other things are in need of attention before this place will be perfect. Despite all this, we made the best of our stay and still had a great time. You won't find a better deal on a condo this size, in this location, with a private hot tub.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is in a great location right on the Snake river. The unit is large and has plenty of room to enjoy a getaway. The upper deck was too small to have more than 2 people...which was a bummer. The hot tub was a nice treat after fly fishing and mountain biking all day. The bathrooms and kitchen have all been remodeled which was very nice. The only disappointments were the super dirty and gross carpets and the back door to the upper deck that we struggled to open and close. Overall a nice place with a great location.
